Objective Study on percentage of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with depressive symptoms in Affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of TCM,understanding of correlation between T2 DM and depressive symptoms base on perspective of TCM theory(TCM syndrome differentiation analysis). Methods 300 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients, symptoms and depressive score collect base on questionnaire duration March of 2019-December of 2019.The data is used to analys the rate of T2 DM patient with depression symptoms. The questionnaire answered by patients, filled in/ distribute by TCM psysician, location 1st Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM duration March of 2019-December of 2019.Gender,age,course of disease, fasting glycemia, symptoms, etc collected as base information included. The degree of depression is bass on Halmilton Depression Rating Scale(HAM-D).score of 0-7 is normal, score of 8-19 is may suffer depression, and the score more than 20 means that the patients is with depression.According to the clinical evidence-based practice guide of diabetes Traditional Chinese Medicine and internal medicine of traditional Chinese Medicine published by China Press of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the patients were divided into 14 types of syndrome: liver and stomach stagnation heat, heat and dampness, lung and stomach excess heat, stomach and intestine excess heat, intestine damp heat, excess fire, excess heat damaged liquid, yin deficiency with false fire,qi and yin deficiency, spleen deficiency and stomach stagnation, upper heat and lower cold,liver-kidney yin deficiency,yin-yang deficiency, and spleen-kidney yang deficiency. The patients separated into 3 groups normal group, suspect group and depression group base on degree of depression.Observe the different of glycemia control situation and TCM syndrome.Observed and analys the symptoms on patients with Apriori algorithm.Articles collected through CNKI,Pubmed, etc.to analyze the correlation between 2DM and Depression. Results 1)292 cases were collected and found to have no depression, accounting for 141(48.29%);91(31.16%)suspected to have depression;60(20.55%)suspected to have depression.2)The results showed that the patients with depression had good blood glucose control(72,51.06%),poor blood glucose control(69,48.94%);suspected patients with depression had good blood glucose control(40,43.96%),poor blood glucose control(51,56.04%);patients with depression had good blood glucose control(10,16.67%),poor blood glucose control(50,83 33%).3)The TCM syndrome differentiation of the patients without depression were as follows: fiery(29,20.57%),hot and humid(30,21.28%),excessive heat in stomach and intestine(13,9.22%),excessive heat in stomach and lung(12,8.51%),excessive heat in stomach and lung(6,4.26%),damp heat in intestine(2,1.42%),upper heat and lower cold(2,1.42%),deficiency of Qi and Yin(13,9.22%),spleen deficiency and stomach Stagnation(15),10.64%,deficiency of yin and fire(1 person,0.71%),deficiency of liver and kidney yin(8 persons,5.67%),deficiency of spleen and kidney yang(4 persons,2.84%)and deficiency of yin and Yang(6 persons,4.26%).4)The TCM syndrome differentiation of suspected diabetic patients with depression is as follows: fiery(13 people,14.29%),hot and humid(13 people,14.29%),excessive heat in gastrointestinal(8 people,8.79%),excessive heat and fluid(7 people,7.69%),excessive heat in lung and stomach(2 people,2.20%),upper heat and lower cold(1 person,1.10%),deficiency of both qi and Yin(16 people,17.58%),spleen deficiency and stomach Stagnation(4 people,4.40%),yin deficiency and fire(8 people,8.58%)8.79% in human, liver and kidney yin deficiency(13 patients,14.29%)and Yin and yang deficiency(6 patients,6.59%).5)TCM syndrome differentiation of patients with depression can be divided into: fiery(14 people,23.33%),hot and humid(15 people,25.00%),excessive heat in gastrointestinal(1 person,1.67%),stagnant heat in liver and stomach(1 person,1.67), ot and hot(3 people,5.00%),damp heat in intestine(1 person,1.67%),upper heat and lower cold(3 people,5.00%),deficiency of Qi and Yin(5 people,8.33%),spleen deficiency and stomach Stagnation(4 people,6.67%),yin deficiency Deficiency of fire(7,11.67%),deficiency of yin and Yang(2,3.33%),deficiency of liver and kidney yin(2,3.33%)and deficiency of spleen and kidney yang(2,3.33%).6)The number of diabetic patients without depression in TCM syndrome differentiation(94,66.67%)was more than that in deficiency syndrome(47,33.33%);the number of diabetic patients suspected of depression in TCM syndrome differentiation(44,48.35%)was less than that in deficiency syndrome(47,51.65%);the number of diabetic patients with depression in TCM syndrome differentiation(38,63.33%)was more than that in deficiency syndrome Number(22,36.67%)Conclusions 1)In the 292 cases collected in 2019,it was observed that the number of confirmed patients with depression was still small,if the number of suspected patients with depression was added to the number,it would be more than half.2)There is a certain relationship between blood glucose control and depression. The number of patients with depression with poor blood glucose control is larger than the number of patients with good blood glucose control.3)From the percentage point of view, patients without depression and suffering from depression have more heat syndrome, while patients maybe suffering from depression more in deficiency syndrome.
