Objective:Through a case-control study based on nurse cohorts on nurses in tertiary hospitals, the aim is to understand the prevalence of uterine leiomyoma among nurses, and to further explore relevant risk factors and to provide scientific guidance for the prevention and intervention of uterine leiomyoma in nurses. Methods:Taking the 3,363 nurses in a nurse cohort study conducted by a tertiary Class A hospital in 2019 as the research objects, analysis the prevalence of uterine leiomyoma, and the distribution of uterine leiomyoma diagnosed by B-ultrasound was used as the case group and control group samples source, and with the same period, same ethnicity, and age(±5)years as matching conditions to conduct 1:1 matching. The research includes laboratory tests(detecting fasting blood glucose and blood lipid levels),B-ultrasound(checking for uterine leiomyoma),and questionnaires(including general information, lifestyle, dietary habits, female physiological characteristics,etc.).Equilibrium test and univariate analysis in case-control study were analyzed using?~2 test,t-test and rank sum test.Multivariate conditional logistic regression was used to analyze risk factors for uterine leiomyoma of nurse population. Results:The prevalence of uterine leiomyoma in the nurse group was 15.8%.The case group and the control group are balanced, and the univariate analysis shows that the proportion of nurses in the case group who are married, the working age is?11 years, the title of the nurse-in-charge and above,BMI is 24.0?27.9 kg/m~2,BMI?28.0 kg/m~2,abnormal blood lipid levels, abnormal blood glucose levels, family history of UL,family history of hypertension, and family history of diabetes, the menarche age is less than 13years old,and the menstrual cycle is irregular, number of pregnancies?1,history of miscarriage, number of abortions?1,induced abortion and both, childbearing, childbearing age>30 years old, number of childbearing?1,had contraception, had birth control ring contraception, the salt habits are general and happy were significantly higher than those in the control group,it was statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate conditional logistic regression analysis showed that UL family history(OR=1.539,95%CI:1.006?2.352,P=0.047),BMI was 24.0?27.9kg/m~2(OR=1.625,95%CI:1.246?2.119,P<0.001),BMI?28.0kg/m~2(OR=2.082,95%CI:1.166?3.719,P=0.013)were independent risk factors for uterine leiomyoma in the nurse group.Conclusions:1.The prevalence of uterine leiomyoma among nurses is higher than that of the general population and other occupational groups.2.The related factors of the incidence of uterine leiomyoma in the nurse group are marital status, working age,job title,BMI,blood lipid levels, blood glucose levels, family history of UL,family history of hypertension, family history of diabetes, menarche age, menstrual cycle regularity, number of pregnancy, presence or absence of miscarriage, number of miscarriages, mode of abortion, whether or not to have children, birth age, number of children, whether contraception, birth control ring contraception, salt condition.3.Family history of UL,BMI value of 24.0?27.9 kg/m~2,and BMI?28.0 kg/m~2 can significantly increase the risk of uterine leiomyoma in the nurse group.
