Objective: To analyze the difference of incidence of “pneumonia” between acute pulmonary thromboembolism(APTE)and deep vein thrombosis(DVT)of lower extremity. Methods:Data of patients with APTE and DVT who were first diagnosed in our hospital from January 1,2011 to October 31,2018 were selected to analyze the incidence of "pneumonia".General data of all patients included in this study, such as age, gender, smoking history, hypertension history and diabetes history, were recorded.Hospital related laboratory indicators, such as blood cell analysis,C-reactive protein(CRP),troponin I(cTnI),D-Dimer(D-D),etc.Chi square test,t-test and nonparametric rank sum test were used to compare the factors between the two groups. Results: 1.There was no significant difference in smoking history, white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil percentage(NEU%),neutrophil lymphocyte ratio(NLR),cTnI,D-D and CRP between the two groups(P>0.05).2.There were 1663 patients of PE,880 cases of APTE in accordance with the observation group,189 cases with pneumonia,21.5%;3784 patients of DVT,81 cases of DVT in accordance with the control group,9cases with pneumonia,11.1%;the incidence of pneumonia in the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: There is a difference in the incidence of pneumonia between APTE and DVT.Compared with DVT,APTE is more likely to be accompanied by pneumonia. The "pneumonia" part of APTE may be the consequence of PE,not the inducement.
