Objective: To analyze the cardiac function and in patients of Sjogren's syndrome(SS)with Subclinical Hypothyroidism(SH)Method : 210 SS patients were selected from our clinic.Thyroid function and echocardiographic indexes were collected including left atrial diameter, peak of mitral regurgitation, ejection fraction and etc.Patients were divided into the normal group(n=156)and the SH group(n=30)according to thyroid function.Differences were compared between the two groups. The correlation among thyroid function, serum lipid level and cardiac function in SH group were analyzed and we established a regression model.Result30(14.3%)patients were complicated with SH in the selected SS patients.Compared with normal group, left atrial diameter in SH group increased markedly(33.73±3.35vs32.37±3.31,p=0.044).Higher level of LDL and TC was observed in TSH>10miu/L patients than in TSH<10miu/L ones in SH group respectively(2.91±0.28vs2.22±0.73,p=0.017),(5.02±0.97vs3.72±0.76,p=0.001).Left atrial diameter elevated greatly in TSH > 10miu/L patients(36.50±0.53vs32.73±3.38,p=0.004)and ratio of E/A declined greatly(0.74±0.01vs1.14±0.30,p=0.001).Higher level of TG and lower ratio of E/A were observed respectively in anti-SSB(-)patients than in anti-SSB(+)ones(1.28±0.52vs0.90±0.20,p=0.041;0.97 ±0.32vs1.20 ±0.23,p=0.044)in SH group.According to the correlation analysis,A peak was positively correlated with TG(r=0.523,p=0.000),however,ratio of E/A was negatively correlated with TG(r=-0.426,p<0.05).Logistics regression showed that TPOAb(OR=1.89)?TSH(OR=1.00)?TG(OR=9.13)?T4(OR=0.50)were evidently correlated with diastolic function in SH group, with T4 being the protective factor(b=-0.686,p=0.007).Conclusion : We should concentrate on changes in TSH,serum lipid level and diastolic function of SS patients combined with SH at early stage.Early intervention should be made to eliminate risk of hyperlipemia and abnormal cardiac function, especially for patients with TSH>10miu/L.
