Objective:To observe the clinical effect of 3D printing spine intervertebral fusion cage in the treatment of single-segment cervical spondylosis during anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Methods:A retrospective study of 58 patients with single-segment cervical spondylosis who underwent anterior cervical discectomy and fusion in our department from June 2016 to June 2018,30 patients received intervertebral fusion cage by 3D printing(experimental group),while the control group was implanted with traditional polyetheretherketone cage. The intraoperative bleeding,The operation time and hospitalization time were compared between the two groups. The preoperative and postoperative cervical Cobb Angle, intervertebral height of fusion segment,VAS score,JOA score were recorded. Results:The intraoperative bleeding and operation time of the experimental group were less than those of the control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the hospitalization time(P>0.05).The intervertebral height of fusion segments and the cervical cobb angle measured at each postoperative period was significantly higher than that before surgery, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in preoperative and 3 days after operation, but there was statistically significant difference between the two groups at 3,6 and 12 months after operation(P<0.05).The two groups of the VAS score and the JOA score at postoperative was significantly better than that before surgery, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in preoperative and 3 days after operation, but there was statistically significant difference between the two groups at 3,6 and 12 months after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion:Implantation of 3D printed spine intervertebral fusion cage in the treatment of single-segment cervical spondylosis during anterior cervical discectomy and fusion can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, gradually restore the physiological curvature, and obtain a satisfactory clinical results.
