Objective: to measure the contents of LTB4 and LTC4 tissues and peripheral blood in AH children with different causes and degrees of hypertrophy,to explore the ro le of different types of leukotrienes in adenoid hypertrophy,and to provide scientific basis for clinical diagnosis and drug treatment of adenoid hypertrophy.Methods: choose 2018 January 1 to December 1,2018 in weihai city maternal and child health care hospital otolaryngology department prepared to accept adenoidectomy,children with allergic rhinitis with severe adenoid hypertrophy were 15 cases(AR severe hypertrophy group),allergic rhinitis with mild adenoid hypertrophy were 15 ca ses(AR mild hypertrophy group),chronic sinusitis and severe 10 cases of adenoid hy pertrophy(CRS severe hypertrophy group)and peripheral blood specimens and 10 cas es of normal healthy children as controls(control group).Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELASA)was used to detect the levels of LTC4 and LTB4 in tissues and serum of children in each group,and SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used to analyze and compare the differences among the groups.Results: 1.The tissue samples of LTC4 two comparison: AR severe hypertrophy group(11.97±3.45)ng/mg significantly higher than that of AR mild hypertrophy group(6.45±2.81)ng/mg,and CRS severe hypertrophy group(5.21±2.99)ng/mg,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);AR mild hypertrophy group and CRS severe hypertrophy group were similar,with no significant difference(P>0.05).Pairings of LTB4 in tissue samples showed that the severe AR hypertrophy group(22.33±5.74)ng/mg and the severe CRS hypertrophy group(18.24±4.12)ng/mg were significantly higher than the mild AR hypertrophy group(9.61±4.00)ng/mg,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).2.Pair-two comparison of LTC4 in peripheral blood samples sh owed that the levels of LTC4 in the severe hypertrophy group(447.44±185.59)pg/ml and the mild hypertrophy group(251.09±57.25)pg/ml were higher than those in the control group(25.64±8.11)pg/ml,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)pg/ml.The severe hypertrophy group(447.44±185.59)pg/ml was significantly higher th an the severe hypertrophy group(236.67±63.20)pg/ml and the mild hypertrophy group(251.09±57.25),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The severe hypertrophy of CRS group was slightly higher than that of AR mild hypertrophy group and control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Pair-based comparison of LTB4 in peripheral blood samples showed that the severe hypertrophy group(846.33±147.14)pg/ml,the mild hypertrophy group(424.62±59.32)pg/ml and the severe hypertrophy group(846.33±147.14)pg/ml were significantly higher than the control group(230.15±38.99)pg/ml,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Both the severe hypertrophy group(846.33±147.14)pg/ml and the severe hypertrophy group(846.33±147.14)pg/ml were significantly higher than the mild hypertrophy group(424.62±59.32),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).AR severe hypertrophy group and CRS severe hypertrophy group were similar,with no significant difference(P>0.05).3.The correlation coefficient between LTB4 and peripheral blood r=0.951(P<0.001);The correl ation coefficient between LTC4 in tissues and peripheral blood r=0.804(P<0.001)was positively correlated.4.The levels of LTB4 and LTC4 were positively correlated with the degree of adenoid hypertrophy,and the correlation coefficient r was 0.799 and 0.872 respectively(P<0.001).Conclusion:1.In allergic rhinitis and chronic inflammation,the levels of LTB4 and LTC4 in tissues and peripheral blood were significantly increased,and inflammation was more likely to stimulate the increase of LTB4,while the level of LTC4 in children with alle rgic rhinitis was significantly increased.2.The level of LTB4 and LTC4 was positively correlated with the degree of adenoid hypertrophy.
