The Effects Of Penehyclidine Hydrochloride On Intestinal Function In Laparoscopic Gynecological Surgery

Objective:Penehyclidine hydrochloride(PHC)is a new type of anticholinergic drug manufactured in China,in recent years,it has been widely used in the treatment of organophosphorus pesticide poisoning,preanesthetic administration,visceral smooth muscle spasm,etc.Compared to other anticholinergic drugs,PHC,which selectively block M3 and M1-receptors,has shown remarkable advantages.In our study,we analyzed the influence of PHC on patients,including the recovery of intestinal functionthe,the occurrence of colic and PONV.Methods: In this study,130 patients undergoing elective laparoscopic total hysterectomy in shengjing hospital affiliated to China medical university were selected and randomly divided into two groups.Patients in PHC group,namely the experimental group,received an intramuscular injection of PHC 0.5mg half an hour before surgery,and patients in control group received an intramuscular injection of equal amount of normal saline.Basic information of patients was recorded,and the follow-up of the patients on the third day after the operation was collected,including: exsufflation time;nausea and vomiting;intestinal colic.Independent samples t tests were used for comparison of data between 2 groups.Inter-group comparisons were performed by Chi-square test.P<0.05 indicates statistical significance.Results: The incidence of postoperative colic,nausea and vomiting in the PHC group was less than that in the control group(P < 0.05).However,there was no significant difference in postoperative exsufflation time between the two groups(P >0.05).Conclusion:The results show that application of PHC can effectively reduce nausea,vomiting and intestinal colic after surgery,but it has no obvious influence on the recovery of intestinal functione.
