| Objective: To find the correlation between body mass index and ovarian malignant tumors through a meta-analysis system.Research method: By searching Pubmed,Cochrane Library,China Knowledge Network(CNKI),Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),etc. Before July, the retrieved documents were screened, and the corresponding original data in the documents were extracted and analyzed using RevMan 5.3 software. Results: After strict selection and exclusion criteria screening,a total of 12 case-control studies were included in this article.According to the World Health Organization(WHO)criteria, the body mass index(BMI)was divided into 3 groups,<25 was the normal weight group, and 25-29.9 was overweight,≥30 was obese. The risk of ovarian cancer in the obese group was 1.17 times that of the normal-weight group(OR = 1.17,95% CI [1.11,1.24],Z = 5.70,P <0.00001),and 1.16 times in postmenopausal women(OR = 1.16,95% CI [1.05,1.28],Z = 3.00,P = 0.003).In premenopausal women, the risk of ovarian cancer from overweight was 1.23 times that of the normal-weight group(OR = 1.23,95% CI [1.10,1.38],Z = 3.50,P = 0.0005),and the r isk of obesity group was 1.51 times(OR = 1.51,95% CI [1.33,1.70],Z = 6.58,P <0.00001).In the early adulthood of the overweight population, the risk of ovarian cancer in the future is 1.17 times that of the normal-weight group(OR = 1.17,95% CI [1.07,1.28],Z = 3.54,P = 0.0004).The risk of disease in the obese group is weight Normal group population 1.28 times(OR = 1.28,95% CI [1.09,1.49],Z = 3.10,P = 0.002).For patients with mucinous ovarian cancer, the risk of disease was 0.83 times lower for patients with overweight than those with normal weight(OR = 0.83,95% CI [0.71,0.97],Z = 2.38,P = 0.02).The risk of ovarian cancer in fertile, oral contraceptive, and tubal ligation patients is reduced.People with hysterectomy and family history of ovarian cancer have an increased risk of ovarian cancer.CONCLUSION: Obese people have an increased risk of ovarian cancer, which is more pronounced in premenopausal women. |
