Financial Risk And Prevention Of Internet Medical Company With Ping An Good Doctor As Case

The in-depth popularity of the Internet affects all aspects of modern people's lives.The medical industry,which is an important part of people's livelihood,has also opened a new chapter of "Internet + medical" in recent years.However,from the first year of "Mobile Medical Entrepreneurship" in 2014 to more than 1000 Internet medical companies being cancelled in 2017,the Internet medical industry seems to be facing a dilemma: after obtaining financing,companies are difficult to make a profit and may even face the crisis of failure.From the perspective of the financial risk of business operations,what financial risks that affect the development of the enterprise,how to identify it,and how to prevent it in the course of operation are all important issues that are worth discussing and studying in the industry and academia.Ping An Healthcare and Technology Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Ping An Good Doctor")was established in August 2014.It landed on the HKEX in 2018 and became the largest IPO of HKEX that year,which is also known as the "Internet medical first stock." However,during its five years of existence and two years of listing,although its operating income has repeatedly achieved good results every year,its profitability has been not good,with a total loss of 3.7 billion as of 2019.This article takes it as a research object,based on the analysis of the financial risk characteristics of the Internet medical industry,identifies the financial risks of Ping An Good Doctor,and analyzes the causes of financial risks in combination with the current status of Ping An Good Doctor's financial risk management.Then evaluate the overall financial risks,and finally put forward preventive measures against the financial risks of Ping An Good Doctor.This study proposes a framework for financial risk analysis of Internet medical companies,with a view to providing research ideas for subsequent related research.
