Background and purpose:In recent years, the incidence and prevalence of chronic kidney disease?CKD?continue to increase worldwide, the number of CKD patients in China is also increasing. Many domestic studies show that the prevalence of CKD is10.1%?13.5%,and the prevalence of CKD in the southern region is higher than that in the northern region. As for the epidemiological study of CKD,the first large-scale cross-sectional study of Chinese adults with CKD reported in 2012[8]was highly representative of the country, but lacked specificity for the characteristics of CKD disease in southern China. As a new city with rapid development, study of the characteristics of disease spectrum changes and their concomitant complications in CKD patients in Shen Zhen can not only help the clinical and health administration adjusting the coping strategies, but also has a good reference value for other regions, but the relevant studies are very few.The purpose of this study was to investigate the demographic characteristics, admission department, disease spectrum changes and accompanying disease S of CKD inpatients in Peking university Shenzhen hospital in the last ten years, thus reflecting the disease spectrum and complication characteristics of inpatients with CKD in Shenzhen, and providing clinical evidence for the prevention and treatment of CKD.Methods:Relying on the medical record system of Peking University Shenzhen hospital, collect the first page of medical records of all patients admitted to Peking University Shenzhen hospital since January 1,2009 to December 31,2018.According to different causes of CKD in the ICD-10-CM system diagnostic code,a total of30581 patients with CKD are screened.Demographic data, diagnostic data,surgical/operational data, and admission department of patients with CKD enrolled were collected. Results:Data of 30,581 hospitalized patients with CKD were included in this study, with an average age of 48.5±16.69 years. The proportion of all CKD patients over 50 years old was46.27%.The most common causes of CKD were glomerulonephritis?26.25%?,obstructive nephropathy?18.81%?,diabetic nephropathy?17.52%?,and hypertensive nephropathy?12.18%?.The percentages of CKD complicated with diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, infectious diseases and malignant tumors were respectively 31.9%,54.5%,17.7%,11.9%and 3.1%.The proportion of patients with CKD admitted to the department of nephrology showed a decreasing trend, with a decrease from 65.0%to 53.5%in10 years. The proportion of CKD patients admitted to other internal medicine and other departments showed an overall rising trend. The proportion of CKD patients admitted to surgery showeda slight decreaseoverall. Conclusions:The average age of CKD patients included in this study was 48.5±16.69 years, more than half of CKD patients were younger than 50 years old,and the proportion of senile patientswassignificantlyreducedcomparedwiththenationalstudy. At present, the primary cause of CKD in shenzhen is still glomerulonephritis, followed by obstructive nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy and hypertensive nephropathy. The results of this studyshowed that the proportion of glomerulonephritis and obstructive nephropathyin Shenzhen significantly higher compared with the national average. The results suggested that the prevention and treatment of CKD in Shenzhen area should focus on glomerulonephritis and obstructivenephropathy. The percentages of CKD complicated with diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, infectious diseases and malignant tumors were 31.9%,54.5%,17.7%,11.9%and3.1%.Nephrology was the department of admission for about half of CKD patients,The proportion of patients with CKD admitted to the department of nephrology showed a decreasing trend, while the proportion of CKD patients admitted to other internal medicine and other departments showedan overall rising trend.
