Objective:Six weeks of aerobic exercise interventions to observe changes in the degree of obstacles, gastrointestinal symptoms, gut microbiota diversity and abundance in children with autism. To investigate the effect of aerobic exercise on the gut microbiota of children with autism and the correlation between gut microbiota and the degree of autism disorder. Methods:This experiment recruited 13 autistic children and 7 ordinary children as subjects.Autism was the intervention group, and ordinary children were the healthy control group. The experimental group underwent aerobic exercise for 40 minutes 3 times a week for 6 weeks.Assessment of Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist(ATEC),Childhood Autism Rating Scale(CARS),Social Responsiveness Scale(SRS),and Child Behavior Checklist(CBCL)before and after the experiment?Fecal samples from the experimental intervention group were collected at the beginning and after the experiment.Collect the gut microbiota of the healthy control group after the experiment.16 s DNA sequencing was performed on the samples to analyze the diversity and community abundance of gut microbiota.Results:1.Compared with before and after the experiment, the scores of the CARS scale in the autism group decreased significantly(P <0.01),the scores of the ATEC scale decreased significantly(P <0.05),the scores of the SRS scale decreased significantly(P <0.05),CBCL The scale score decreased significantly(P <0.01).2.Alpha diversity index of experimental group after intervention compared with before intervention,The ace index, shannon index and chao index increased significantly(P <0.01),and the simpson index decreased significantly(P <0.01).3.The gut microbiota in the experimental group had a significant decrease in Bacteroidetes abundance at phylum levels(P <0.01),and Firmicutes increased without significant differences(P> 0.05).There were significant differences in the total of six bacterial species at the genus level. The abundances of Bacteroides Streptococcus and Haemophilus were significantly reduced, and the abundances of Faecalibacterium,Lactobacillus, and Veillonella were significantly increased.Although there was no significant difference before and after Desulfovibrio intervention(P> 0.05),it showed a downward trend.4.The incidence of gastrointestinal symptoms in the experimental group decreased from 100% to 38.46%;the gastrointestinal severity index(6-GSI)score decreased significantly(P <0.01).5.Compared with the control group, the Firmicutes,Faecalibacterium, and Veillonella of the experimental group before the intervention were significantly lower than those of the control group(P <0.05);Haemophilus,Desulfovibrio,and Streptococcus were significantly higher in the experimental group before intervention than in the control group(P <0.05).There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group after the intervention.6.After the intervention, the autism disorder index and the gut microbiota Alpha diversity were significantly improved, but there was no significant correlation between the indicators.Conclusion:1.Six weeks of aerobic training can improve barriers and social skills in autistic patient, and reduce their behavioral problems.2.Six weeks of aerobic exercise can improve the abundance and diversity of gut microbiota in autism3.After six weeks of aerobic exercise, intestinal microflora and degree of autism disorder have improved, but there is no correlation between the changes.
