Objective:To detect the serum levels of programmed cell death receptor and inducible costimulator in children and adults with Atopic dermatitis,To investigate the correlation between PD-1 and ICOS and the severity of atopic dermatitis in children.Method:Peripheral blood was collected from patients with A in total of 35 cases(14 children,21 adults)were enrolled and 20 healthy individuals were selected as the control group,The severity of the disease was assessed using the European Atopic Dermatitis Scoring Criteria(SCORAD).Detection of serum levels of PD-1 and ICOS in peripheral blood by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results:1.Compared with the control group, the expression level of PD-1 in serum of children with AD increased,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;however, the expression level of PD-1 increased in children with AD compared with AD adult group.Obviously,P<0.01,the difference was statistically significant;the expression level of PD-1 was higher in AD adult group than in healthy control group,P<0.01,the difference was statistically significant.2.Compared with the control group, the expression level of ICOS in the serum of children with AD increased,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;however, compared with the AD adult group, the expression level of ICOS increased significantly in children with AD,P<0.01,the difference was statistically significant;the expression level of ICOS in AD adult group was higher than that in healthy control group,P<0.01,the difference was statistically significant.3.The expression levels of PD-1 and ICOS in peripheral blood of patients with AD were positively correlated with SCORAD score(r=0.72,r=0.56,p<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion:The levels of serum PD-1 and ICOS cells were significant higher in AD,suggesting that PD-1 and ICOS may be involved in the pathogenesis of AD;The levels of serum PD-1 and ICOS cells were significant higher in children with AD than adults with AD,suggesting that PD-1 and ICOS may play a major role in the pathogenesis of children with AD;PD-1 and ICOS have a positive correlation with the SCORAD score, the experimental data show that PD-1 and ICOS may be significantly associated with the severity of the disease.
