Objective The research was to evaluate the clinical value of 3D transvaginal ultrasound(transvaginal three-dimensional ultrasonography,3D-TVS)OmniView imaging and Render imaging in the diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions(IUA).Method 146 patients with suspected diagnosis of IUA admitted to the reproductive center of SuZhou hospital affiliated to NanJing medical university were included in the study from April to December 2017.Each of them was examined by using GE Voluson E8 color doppler ultrasound diagnostic which had the software of 3D-TVS Render imaging and OmniView imaging,and then were compared with the results of hysteroscopy,which was expected to summarize the characteristics of IUA and the classification of IUA.Results 110(110/128,85.9%)of 146 patients were correctly diagnosed with IUA by Render imaging technology,18(18/128,14.1%)were missed,and 3(3/18,16.7%)were misdiagnosed without IUA.The OmniView imaging correctly diagnosed 127 patients with IUA(127/128,99.2%),missed diagnosis 1(1/128,0.78%),and misdiagnosed 2 patients without IUA(2/18,11.1%).The agreement rate between the two techniques,as expressed by Cohen's kappa coeffificient,was>0.903 for OmniView imaging and>0.510 for Render imaging.The areas under the ROC curve of two techniques was>0.941 for OmniView imaging and>0.846 for Render imaging.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and accuracy of Render imaging in the diagnosis of peripheral and mixed IUA were significantly lower than OmniView imaging,respectively.Conclusion OmniView imaging provide effective diagnostic value for diagnosing IUA,and is superior to traditional Render imaging in IUA classification diagnosis.However,compared with hysteroscopy,there are still some limitations in IUA detection rate in patients with thin endometrium,so it is necessary to further explore and study the characteristics of OmniView imaging technology.
