Objective: To investigate the characteristics of beat-to-beat blood pressure variability(BPV)in patients with cerebral hemorrhage, and to analyze its influence on early prognosis. Methods: According to inclusion criteria, conscious patients with supratentorial cerebral hemorrhage and healthy examinees were recruited from Department of Neurology of the First Hospital of Jilin University from December 2017 to December 2019.The baseline characteristics, hematoma location and volume and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)were recorded. At the same time, the healthy volunteers were selected as the control group, and the related baseline information and risk factors of cerebrovascular disease were recorded.Systolic and diastolic blood pressure of all subjects were measured noninvasively by a servo-controlled plethysmograph The time-domain indices of beat-to-beat BPV were analyzed by MATLAB software.Modified Rankin scales(m RS)?2 was defined as a poor outcome and m RS?3 was defined as a favorable outcome. Results: 1.The age, prevalence of hypertension and many indices of beat-to-beat BPV in ICH group were higher than those in control group(p?0.05).2.The baseline factors, risk factors of cerebrovascular disease and the effect of ICH on BPV were analyzed by univariate analysis.BPV was associated with dyslipidemia, hypertension, and ICH(p?0.05),and multiple linear regression model suggested that BPV were associated with ICH and dyslipidemia.3.The NIHSS score,SBP-CV and DBP-CV were significantly different between the two groups with poor and good outcome(p?0.05).4.To study the effect of BPV on the prognosis of ICH,univariate analysis was used. The variates with a p-value < 0.1 in the univariate analysis were included in multivariate logistic regression models as the major covariates.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed thatSBP-CV was correlated with the poor prognosis of ICH(p?0.05).Conclusion: The age, prevalence of hypertension and BPV of patients with cerebral hemorrhage were higher than those of healthy people.Cerebral hemorrhage and dyslipidemia were the relevant factors affecting BPV.As an important index for predicting poor prognosis in patients with cerebral hemorrhage,beat-to-beat BPV could be used as a reliable monitoring index for cerebral hemorrhage.
