Objective: To further investigate the effect and mechanism of ginkgolide on the peripheral nerve in Guillain-Barré syndrome based on the inflammatory response inhibiting effect of ginkgolide, with a view to exploring the effect and mechanism of ginkgolide on immune-mediated peripheral neuropathy and providing support and reference for the development of drugs for the treatment of Guillain-Barrésyndrome.Methods: Using a prospective study method,51 GBS patients attending the Department of Neurology,First Hospital of Jilin University from January 2017 to May2019 were selected, randomly divided into two groups,27 in the experimental group and24 in the control group, the relevant clinical parameters of all enrolled patients were collected, the expression levels of IFN-?,IL-12p70,IL-17 A in the plasma of the two groups of patients were determined by flow-phase multiple protein quantification(BD CBA)using cell microsphere array Flex set(BD Biosciences),and the relevant clinical parameters and cytokine expression levels of the two groups were compared after 2 weeks of treatment. Results: There were no significant differences(P>0.05)between the two groups in age, sex, season of onset, time from onset to hospital admission, antecedent infection, tendon reflexes, cerebral nerve damage,ventilator-assisted breathing, autonomic nerve dysfunction, days of hospitalization, treatment efficacy, disease severity,short-term prognosis, motor deficits as assessed by the Hughes Functional Rating Scale(HFGS),muscle weakness as assessed by the Medical Research Council(MRC)total score, and IL-17 A changes. After 2 weeks of treatment, there was a statistical difference(P<0.05)between the two groups of patients in terms of complications, and changes in IFN-?,IL-12p70.Conclusion: The levels of IFN-? and IL-12p70 were reduced in the experimental group; After the comparison of HFGS and MRC scores, there was nostatistical difference between the clinical scores of the experimental group and the control group, and no significant clinical remission was seen.
