Objective:By comparing the 3D reconstruction technology of 3D slicer software for preoperative planning and preoperative simulation surgery training with the traditional simple image guidance pedicle screw implantation,to explore whether the software can improve the accuracy of surgical puncture, improve the success rate of one-time puncture and shorten the operation time,so as to save the operation cost.At the same time, the technology is used in the clinical teaching of pedicle screw implantation and the clinical training of doctors,so as to improve the accuracy of operation and shorten the learning curve of operation of clinical medical studentsMethodsThis study retrospectively analyzed the imaging data of the patients who completed the operation after the simple image guided pedicle screw implantation and 3D reconstruction technology with 3D slicer software in our hospital from January 2019 to June 2019.Among them, the control group was the patients who received simple image guidance for pedicle screw implantation, and the experimental group was the patients who used 3D slicer software for preoperative planning and preoperative simulated operation training. In this study,3D slicer was used to fuse the images of the control group and the experimental group before and after operation. In the form of three-dimensional model, the angle difference between the planned path and the actual path in three-dimensional space was compared in the experimental group and the control group. The difference of accuracy, success rate and operation time between the two methods were calculated. In addition, the software and related technology are used to study and train the clinicians in surgery, and the results of the study are counted in the form of questionnaire. Results:According to the analysis of the relevant data, the average deviation angle between the postoperative imaging data and the preoperative optimal path in the control group was 2.08%,and the average time of pedicle puncture was 4.57 minutes. The success rate of one-time puncture was 86.4%.In the experimental group, the average deviation angle between the postoperative imaging data and the preoperative optimal path was 1.89%,and the average puncture time of pedicle screw was 4.57 minutes. The success rate of one-time puncture was 93.14%.According to the results of questionnaire survey,90%and 10%of them think that 3D slicer is very helpful to the study and understanding of the operation.100%of medical students and advanced doctors think that the learning mode of simulated operation plus follow-up is better than that of single follow-up,which can reduce the learning time and enhance the understanding of the operation. Conclusion:In this study,it is clear that the application of 3D slicer to guide pedicle screw implantation can improve the accuracy of surgical puncture and the success rate of one-time puncture, but the improvement of single screw puncture time is not obvious. At the same time, the application of this technology in clinical teaching of pedicle screw implantation and the clinical training of doctors can shorten the learning curve of surgical operation for clinical medical students.
