In order to solve the problems of low success rate and long operation time of pedicle screw placement,this paper proposes a method of automatic path planning for CT pedicle screw placement.The CT images of CT collected related processing,including: image import,image edge detection,the process is mainly used Canny edge detection operator,CT edge image after processing can be obtained with a clear contour,then convenient in the software of image processing.Path fitting provides a theoretical basis for the formation of pedicle screw placement.Through this series of processing can improve the characteristics of the image,increase the accuracy of automatic screw path determination.After processing,the processed images are processed by Mimics software to build the 3D model.After the model is obtained by the software,the incident area of the screw is defined,the alternative path set of the pedicle screw is determined,and then the path set is optimized.In this paper the error path is filtered out and the security of the inserted path is checked.A set of pedicle screw placement pathways were obtained after safety evaluation.The lengths of the alternative paths are then evaluated separately,and detailed comparisons are made,respectively.The optimal placement path is obtained.After obtaining the optimal path,the horizontal angle of the placement path and the angle between the placement path and the sagittal plane are calculated.At the same time in the screw radius to determine the process,in order to ensure the safe and stable screw into the pedicle,not to cause the vertebral injury,the introduction of a safety factor C to ensure that the selected screw path can be more secure placement Vertebral body,to provide a more secure security to determine the protection.And the output angle for the doctor in the surgical process for reference.For the success of surgery to provide the necessary protection.The method is verified by the software platform,and the data obtained by the method are compared with the measured data and the LEE method.The experimental results show that the proposed method has good stability,and the path of pedicle screw placement is safe.This method has a good performance,and provides a theoretical basis for the reasonable implementation of the operation.
