Analysis Of The Results Of Nocturnal Bruxchecker Test In Patients With Bruxchecker

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to investigate the comparative analysis of the results of bruxchecker in patients with and without bruxism,so as to explore the ability of the bruxchecker to detect the grinding condition in patients with bruxism at night,and provide reference significance for the clinical application of bruxchecker,so as to promote the clinical application of bruxchecker.MethodsThe total sample size was 16.The sample was divided into two groups,bruxers and non-bruxers with 8 subjects in each group.Healthy volunteers aged between 23-27 years old diagnosed with bruxism and Healthy volunteers aged between 23-27 years old diagnosed without bruxism were included in group II(the control group).16 subjects using alginate impression material for making impression,heraeus superhard gypsum perfuses impression,Dreve pressure film machine presses bruxchecker,Each experimental subject was instructed to wear bruxchecker before sleep,and the bruxchecker were removed at morning and placed on the plaster model.The area of the bruxchecker in which the red dye was removed was measured and the results of bruxcheckers were counted and sorted,then analyze these data.SPSS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the test results of the experimental group and the control group.Result1.The bruxchecker results of the experimental group showed one IC mode,two ICP mode and thirteen ICPM mode on the latrotrusive side;fifteen MG mode and one non-MG mode on the mediotrusive side.2.In the control group,eight IC patterns,seven ICP patterns and one ICPM patterns appeared on the latrotrusive side,seven MG patterns and nine non-MG patterns appeared on the mediotrusive side.3.Compared with the control group,the proportion of ICPM mode was larger in the experimental group on the latrotrusive side,and the difference was statistically significant;the proportion of MG mode on the mediotrusive side in the experimental group was much higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.ConclusionsThe results of the bruxchecker show that ICPM mode on the latrotrusive side and MG mode on the mediotrusive side can be used as indicators for the detection of bruxism,the bruxchecker is helpful for the diagnosis of bruxism.
