Objective:To observe the short-term efficacy and safety of Cimicifuga Baitou Mixture combined with mFolfox6 in the treatment of damp-heat-enriched advanced colorectal cancer,and to analyze whether its efficacy is related to the regulation of zDHHC9/Ras by Chinese medicine.Methods:From May 1,2018 to December 1,2019,66 patients with advanced colorectal cancer who were treated in the Department of Oncology of Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine were selected,and 66 patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided.For the control group and the treatment group.Patients in the control group received mFolfox6 chemotherapy:oxaliplatin(L-OHP)85 mg/m2,intravenous infusion for 4 h,day 1;calcium folate(CF)400 mg/m2,intravenous infusion for 2 h,day;Fluorouracil(5-Fu)400 mg/m2,intravenous injection,the first day;5-Fu 2400 mg/m2,intravenous drip for 46 h,the first and second days,repeated every 2 weeks,a total of 6 treatments,the course is 3 months.In the treatment group,the Chinese medicine Cimicifuga Baitouweng mixture was added on the basis of chemotherapy.3 months.After treatment,the efficacy of solid tumors(RECIST),improvement of TCM syndromes,KPS quality of life score,and adverse reactions were observed in the two groups of patients.In addition,pathological sections of tumor tissues after surgery were collected for zDHHC9 immunohistochemical staining;The expression of Ras and zDHHC9 in the serum of patients before and after treatment was detected by ELISA.Results:Although there was no significant difference in the efficacy of RECIST between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),the improvement of TCM syndromes and the KPS quality of life score of the treatment group were improved compared with the control group.And the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition,the treatment group can significantly improve the incidence of adverse reactions in patients with eutropenia,nausea,vomiting,abdominal pain,diarrhea,fatigue and loss of appetite,and the difference is statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05);immunohistochemistry showed:about 73%of The tumor pathological tissues of patients showed positive expression of zDHHC9 in different degrees;ELISA showed that K-ras and zDHHC9 in serum of both groups were reduced after treatment.However,only the two indicators in the treatment group were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Although Cimicifuga Baitouweng mixture can not significantly inhibit the progression of advanced colorectal cancer in a short period of time,it can reduce the adverse reactions related to chemotherapy,significantly improve the quality of life of patients,and have no obvious toxic side effects.Its inhibitory effect on colorectal cancer may be related to the inhibition of the expression of zDHHC9 leading to the limited function of Ras gene.
