In this thesis,Lysimachia christinae Hance were focused to investigate its consituents.The chemical constituents were isolated by modern purification techniques and chromatographies.Their chemical structures were elucidated by physical and chemical properties.Lysimachia christinae Hance is also known as Guo lu huang in the folk.Its major chemical constituents are flavones and phenols from our study.We isolated and identified 29 compounds including 3 new compounds from Lysimachia christinae Hance,namely:(2R,4S)-6-(3?-hydroxy-4?-me thoxybenzene)-2,4-dihydroxy-hexanediol(1),(2S,4S)-6-(4',5'-dihydroxy-3'-methoxybenz ene)-2,4-dihydroxy-hexanediol(2),4-{2-[(4R,6S)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxan-4-yl]e-thy l}phenol(3),3,4,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-?-truxinate(4),quercetin(5),apigenin(6),tricin(7),luteolin(8),eriodictyol(9),quercetin-3-O-?-L-rhamnopyranoside(10),kaempferol(11),quercetin-4'-methyl ether(12),7-hydroxy-3,5-dimethyl-isochromen-1-one(13),benzoic acid(14),pyrocatechol(15),caffeic acid(16),p-coumaric acid(17),p-hydroxybenzoic acid(18),6,7-dihydroxycoumarin(19),3,3'-di-O-methyl ellagic acid(20),syringic acid(21),3,5-dihydroxyphenyl propanoic methyl ester(22),methyl3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid(23),hydroquinone(24),5-(3',5'-dihydroxyphenyl)-?-valerolactone(25),2-furoic-acid(26),vanillic acid(27),aurantiamide(28),daucosterol(29).Among them,compounds 1-3 are new compounds,compounds 4,7,12-15,19-20 and 24-28 were isolated from this genus for the first time.The second chapter provide a more comprehensive overview of primulaceae from plant resources,chemical constituents,pharmacological activity to provide areference for further research and development.
