Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Wind-heat Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria With Yuebi Kangmin Decoction

Objective: to observe the changes of clinical signs and symptoms,dermatology life quality index(DLQI)and serum Ig E level before and after the treatment of wind-heat chronic spontaneous urticaria with yuebi kangmin decoction,so as to verify the clinical efficacy of yuebi kangmin decoction in the treatment of urticaria,and to explore the relationship between chronic spontaneous urticaria and serum Ig E level.Methods: the 80 patients were all from the dermatology outpatient department of the first affiliated hospital of guangxi university of traditional Chinese medicine.In the control group,40 cases were treated with episitin hydrochloride capsules orally.At the same time,serum Ig E levels of the two groups were detected before and after treatment to compare the changes in serum Ig E levels.Results: in this study,there were a total of 7 exfoliating cases,of which 73 were actually included,including 37 in the treatment group and 36 in the control group.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age and course of disease(P>0.05),suggesting comparability.Comparison of clinical efficacy: after 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 89.19%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 77.78%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.Comparison of dermatology life quality index(DLQI): there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in quality of life score before treatment(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.After 4 weeks of treatment,the DLQI score of both groups decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The mean score of quality of life in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).(4)changes in serum Ig E levels: compared with changes in serum Ig E levels in the two groups before and after treatment,the decrease degree in the treatment group was significantly greater than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: the clinical efficacy of yuebi kangmin decoction in the treatment of wind-heat chronic idiopathic urticaria was significantly superior to that of the oral epistin hydrochloride capsule group.It improved the quality of life of patients by relieving their clinical symptoms.The mechanism of action may be related to the decrease of serum Ig E level.
