Glioma is the most common primary intracranial tumors produced by glial cells in the brain and spinal cord.According to WHO classification standards, the pathological characteristics of glioma scored ?-?,of which the malignant degree of?-grade glioma is highest, the prognosis is poor.An effective treatment is particularly important for pateints.LncRNAs is a class of non-coding RNA with more than 200 nucleotides that cannot encode proteins.LncRNAs has the functions of participating in gene transcription and translation, mediating chromatin reconstruction, interfering with mRNA shear, binding to specific proteins, regulating protein activity, and changing protein cytoplasmic location.LINC01138 is an LncRNA located on chromosome 1q21.2,but the overall biological function of LINC01138 remained unknown. It was concluded that LINC01138 had lower expression in glioma tissue than in adjacent noncancerous tissue.Meanwhile, two new subtypes were found in glioma tissue:LINC01138-S1(Submission ID:2357666)and LINC01138-S2(Submission ID:2357674).Summarizing the results of cell behavior experiments,LINC01138 has been announced two subtypes LINC01138-L,LINC01138-S and two new subtypes LINC01138-S1 and LINC01138-S2 inhibited the proliferation, migration and invasion of glioma cells.Through transcriptome sequencing,we analyze the downstream target genes that LINC011138 may regulate and subsequently performe a preliminary exploration,LINC01138 may inhibit the development of glioma seoma through down-regulating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.
