The Clinical Effect Of Weikang Granule Combined With Chemotherapy On Gastric Cancer

Objectives:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Weikang Granule combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer,and to explore a new scheme for Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of gastric cancer.Methods:54 patients were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group and control group.In the treatment group,Weikang Granules were given one bag at a time,twice a day,combined with XELOX or SOX regimen chemotherapy;in the control group,Weikang Granules were given one bag at a time,twice a day,combined with the same chemotherapy regimen.The observation time was 2 months.At the end of each treatment cycle,the short-term evaluation of local tumor or metastasis,QLQ-C30,TCM symptom score,tumor markers,T-lymphocyte subsets and safety analysis were performed.Statistical differences between the two groupsResults:In the short-term evaluation of local tumor or metastasis,t The short-term disease control rate(DCR)in the treatment group was 74.70%,no significant difference from that in the control group(59.26%).There was no significant difference in tumor markers between the two groups(p>0.05).In terms of T lymphocyte subsets,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group,especially the improvement of CD3+CD4+and CD4+/CD8+,p<0.05.In the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine and QOL-30,the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group,especially in the aspects of emaciation,fatigue and poor appetite(p<0.05).In terms of safety,the incidence of severe(grade III and IV)hemoglobin decline and nausea and vomiting events in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p<0.05),but there was no significant difference in liver and kidney function damage and neurotoxicity.Conclusions:Weikang Granule combined with chemotherapy can obviously alleviate some clinical symptoms of patients with advanced gastric cancer,improve their quality of life,alleviate some toxic and side effects of chemotherapy,improve their immune function,and provide a new idea for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,which is worthy of further clinical promotion and research.
