BackgroundAs an important member serving the medical and health undertakings, nurses bear more and more pressure and responsibilities in the process of maintaining human health, and are prone to emotional problems mainly caused by anxiety.Anxiety is divided into state anxiety and trait anxiety.High trait anxiety nurses maintain a high level of anxiety for a long time to affect their nursing work.At present, domestic and foreign research focuses on the status of anxiety of high trait anxiety nurses, neglecting to discuss nurses in a resting state from the perspective of electrophysiology Abnormal changes in brain function.ObjectiveTo explore the changing characteristics of the power spectrum and microstate of high trait anxiety nurses at rest,to understand the changes in the neuro electrophysiology of high trait anxiety nurses, and to provide objective evidence for improving the mental health of high trait anxiety nurses.MethodBefore the experiment started,170 nurses from a Tertiary hospital in Xinxiang were recruited and tested by Spielberger et al.According to the distribution of the scores of the trait anxiety scale of the research subjects,27% of the people before and after the selection were divided into high trait anxiety nurse group and normal control group. This study finally included 29 high trait anxiety nurse group and 28 normal control groups. The experimental program was compiled using E-prime2.0.The 64-channel EEG equipment of Neuroscan was used to collect the resting state EEG data of the two groups research objects, and the EEG data were analyzed by Matlab,EEG analysis indicators include: various frequency bands, microstate duration, occurrence, contribution etc.Epidata 3.1 was used to enter general information, and the data was analyzed by SPSS20.0.The analysis methods include descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t test,Nonparametric test and Pearson correlation analysis.ResultThe power spectrum results show that the areas where the power spectrum of the hightrait anxiety nurses group is lower than that of the control group are mainly concentrated in the frequency bands of the frontal region, central region, and posterior region. The two groups of research objects were in the frontal region of the ? band(t = 2.556,P= 0.013)and the left temporal region(t = 3.3371,P = 0.001);the frontal region of the ? band(t = 2.707,P = 0.009);The frontal region of the ? band(t = 3.333,P = 0.002),the left temporal region(t = 2.088,P = 0.041),the right temporal region(t = 2.229,P = 0.030),and the posterior region(t = 2.308,P = 0.025)and the frontal region of the ? band(t = 2.749,P = 0.008),the left temporal region(t = 2.727,P = 0.009),and the right temporal region(t = 2.556,P = 0.013)have statistically significant differences.Significance(P<0.05).The results of the microstate showed that the duration of the microstate B of the hightrait anxiety nurse was shorter than that of the normal control group(t = 2.439,P = 0.018).Trait anxiety nurses were significantly lower than normal controls. In the parameter of contribution rate, the microstate B(t = 2.762,P = 0.008)of the high trait anxiety nurses has a significant decrease compared with the normal control, while the microstate C(t =-2.159,P = 0.035)significantly increases.Compared with the normal control, the microstate A to microstate C(t =-2.504,P = 0.015)and microstate C to microstate A(t =-2.390,P = 0.020)The probability of transition is significantly higher than that of the normal control group;the transition from microstate B to microstate D(t = 2.489,P = 0.016)and microstate D to microstate B(t = 2.610,P = 0.012)for high trait anxiety nurses The probability is significantly lower than the normal control group.(P<0.05)Conclusion1.Abnormal changes in high-trait anxiety nurses in specific frequency bands related to attention and working memory indicate that they have defects in attention and working memory.2.High trait anxiety nurses have changes characterized by a decrease in the microstate B of brain regions related to the visual network. These abnormalities can be associated with defects in visual processing.
