Clinical Observation Of TongXuanNing Ointment In The Treatment Of Migraine With Hyperactivity Of Liver Yang

Objective:By observing the changes of headache score and TCM syndrome quantitative score before treatment and at 4 weeks of treatment and 1 month after treatment,the clinical effect of TongXuanNing ointment in the treatment of migraine with hyperactivity of liver Yang is evaluated.Methods:In this study,62 cases of migraine with hyperactivity of liver Yang are randomly divided into two groups:the observation group and the control group.The observation group is given TongXuanNing ointment(1 bag in the morning and 1 bag in the evening,boiled water for infusion),and the control group is given TianShu capsule(4 capsules each time,once in the morning,once in the middle and once in the evening).The course of treatment is 4 weeks,and the patients are followed up at the end of 1 month.To observe the changes of TCM Syndrome Scale score and headache score(including headache attack times,headache degree,headache duration and accompanying symptoms)before treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 1 month follow-up at the end of treatment,the clinical effect of TongXuanNing ointment is evaluated.Results:1.In this study,62 patients with migraine are included,1 case fall off during the observation,and 61 cases finish the observation,which is included in the statistical analysis of curative effect.2.There are 31 cases in the observation group,4 cases are cured,6 cases are markedly effective,18 cases are effective,3 cases are ineffective,and the total effective rate is 90.3%;There are 30 cases in the control group,1 case is cured,2 cases are markedly effective,20 cases are effective,7 cases are ineffective,and the total effective rate is 76.7%.The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).It is suggested that the curative effect of the observation group is better than that of the control group.At 4 weeks of treatment,the scores of the observation group are lower than those of the control group in the four aspects of the quantitative score of headache scoring method.There is significant difference in the number of headache attacks and headache degree between the two groups(P<0.05),and there is significant difference in headache duration score(P<0.01),but there is no significant difference in concomitant symptom score between the two groups(P>0.05),which suggests that the observation group is better than the control group in reducing the number,degree and duration of headache.3.In terms of TCM syndrome scale scores,compared with those before treatment,the scores of the two groups decrease at 4 weeks of treatment,and the scores of the observation group are lower than those of the control group,with significant statistical difference(P<0.01).At 4 weeks of treatment,the scores of TCM main symptoms in the observation group are lower than those in the control group,and there are significant differences in the scores of head pain,irritability and eye redness between the two groups(P<0.05),and there are significant differences in the score of oral pain(P<0.01).It is suggested that the improvement of TCM syndrome in the observation group is better than that in the control group.4.1 month after treatment,the quantitative score of headache score and the score of TCM syndrome scale in the observation group are significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.01),but compared with the end of treatment,there is no significant difference(P>0.05).1 month after treatment,the quantitative score of headache scoring method and the score of TCM syndrome scale in the observation group are significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.01),suggesting that the long-term effect of the observation group is better than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusions:1.TongXuanNing ointment can reduce the number of headache attacks in patients with migraine with hyperactivity of liver-yang,reduce the degree of headache,shorten the duration of headache and improve the concomitant symptoms.it is superior to TianShu capsule in reducing the number of headache attacks,reducing the degree of headache and shortening the duration of headache.2.TongXuanNing ointment can improve the TCM Syndromes of migraine patients with hyperactivity of liver Yang.3.The long-term therapeutic effect of TongXuanNing ointment on migraine patients with hyperactivity of liver Yang for one month is better than that of TianShu capsule.
