The Clinical Study Of Tongxia Decoction Enema For Postoperative Adhesion Intestinal Obstruction (Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis)

Objective: To survey the clinical effect of traditional western medicine combined with self-made tongxia decoction in the treatment of postoperative adhesive intestinal obstruction(qi stagnation and blood stasis type)by enema.Methods: 60 AIO patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis in outpatient and inpatient departments of general surgery department of affiliated hospital of Changchun university of traditional Chinese medicine from December 2018 to January 2020 were selected and randomly divided into groups.There were 30 patients in the control group,who were given basic treatment in hospital,fasting water,continuous gastrointestinal decompression,intravenous nutrition support,maintenance of water and electrolyte,acid-base balance,spasmolysis and anti-inflammatory treatment.In the treatment group,30 patients were treated by enema with tongxia decoction on the basis of the control group.After enema,the patient was asked to lie on the left side,lie on the right side after the enema,and lie on the right side for more than 30 min.The solution was evenly distributed in the intestinal cavity and kept for more than 1 hour to facilitate the full absorption of the solution and better play its role.5 days was a course of treatment.After treatment,the 2groups of patients were observed 5 days later,including the recovery of gastrointestinal function(relief time of abdominal pain and distension,exhaust,defecation,and recovery time of bowel sounds),and the results of abdominal X-ray examination,to analyze the clinical efficacy.Results: After 5 days of treatment,the treatment group was superior to the control group in terms of gastrointestinal function recovery(including abdominal distension and pain,defecation and exhaust,and bowel sounds)and abdominal X-ray results,and the difference was statistically significant.(P < 0.05)Conclusion: On the basis of conventional treatment,self-made tongxia decoction with Chinese medicine enema can significantly shorten the relief time of clinical symptoms of adhesive ileus and improve the clinical efficacy.
