Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and impact of acupuncture at the Facial Nerve Outlet in the treatment of wind-cold collateral facial paralysis;to optimize the prescription of acupuncture for patients with wind-cold collateral facial paralysis, and to provide acupoints and methods for clinical treatment. Methods: This study collected patients from the acupuncture clinic of Jilin Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2019 to November 2019.According to the principle of randomized control,72 patients who met the inclusion criteria were numbered by computer according to the order of the visits. They were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 36 cases in each group, and signed informed consent. The main acupuncture points in the treatment group were the Facial Nerve Outlet,Dicang,Jiache,Hegu, and the control group was selected routinely.Yangbai,Sibai,Quanliao,Jiache,Dicang,Yifeng,Taiyang,Qianzheng,Hegu.The two groups are matched with acupuncture points, the rest period is supplemented with TDP irradiation basic treatment, continuous treatment for 6 days a week,1 day of rest,a total of treatment 3 weeks, and recorded the safety analysis and the occurrence of adverse events in detail during the study. The authoritative assessment of the system of H-B facial nerve function evaluation standard and FDI facial disability index questionnaire(including FDIP physical function and FDIS social life function)was applied before and after treatment. To summarize the clinical effect of acupuncture on the Facial Nerve Outlet in the treatment of wind-cold collateral facial paralysis. Results: 1.Before the treatment, comparing the H-B scale ratings of the two groups of patients, there was no significant difference(P>0.05);after the treatment, comparing the H-B scale ratings of the two groups of patients, there was a significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that acupuncture Facial Nerve Outlet treatment patients with wind-cold collateral facial paralysis are more effective than conventional acupoint selection methods.2.Before the treatment, the FDIP and FDIS questionnaire scores of the two groups werecompared, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).After the treatment, the FDIP scores of the two groups were compared, and there was a significant difference(P<0.05),the FDIS scores of the two groups were compared, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).This shows that acupuncture of the Facial Nerve Outlet is better than the control group in improving facial muscle function in patients with facial paralysis, and in the two groups in improving the psychosocial disorders caused by the disease.3.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.75%,and the more effective rate was 78.12%,which was better than the control group's 85.29% and 58.83%.Conclusions: 1.Acupuncture of the Facial Nerve Outlett for the treatment of wind-cold collateral facial paralysis is indeed effective, and the effect is better than the conventional method of acupoint selection, which can significantly improve the facial nerve and muscle function of patients.2.The method of acupuncture the Facial Nerve Outlet has the advantages of accurate curative effect, rapid onset, and increased clinical healing rate.It also optimizes acupoint selection, greatly reduces the number of acupuncture points in the facial muscles, and reduces the pain caused by acupuncture It is more easily accepted by patients and saves medical consumables. It is a green therapy worthy of in-depth research and promotion.
