Objective: Through retrospective analysis of clinical data,to explore the difference in clinical efficacy between different treatments of plasma cell mastitis, and guide the clinical rational choice of treatments to provide a theoretical basis. Methods: A total of 100 patients with plasma cell mastitis who are diagnosed as plasma cell mastitis and met the inclusion criteria are selected in the outpatient or ward of vascular breast surgery department of Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2016 to July 2019.According to the different treatment methods, they are divided into two groups,50 patients in the surgical Chinese medicine treatment group and 50 patients in the pure Chinese medicine treatment group.Treatment method: The pure Chinese medicine group takes the Fang Danshen Huayu Decoction plus or minus the prescription, which is formulated by the famous old Chinese medicine professor Zhou Yuzhu, and the surgical Chinese medicine treatment group adds surgery to the pure Chinese medicine group.By observing the course, cost, quality of life, breast appearance treatment changes, and using statistical software(SPSS 21.0)to statistically analyze the data obtained.Result:(1)At different stages of the disease, the course of surgery in the surgical Chinese medicine group is shorter than that in the pure Chinese medicine group.(2)The cost of surgery in the surgical Chinese medicine group is higher than that in the pure Chinese medicine group at different stages of the disease.(3)The total quality of life score and breast appearance quality rate in the pure Chinese medicine group were higher than those in the surgical Chinese medicine group.(4)Among the three surgical methods(incision group,VSD group,BD Angiocath group),the VSD group has the shortest course of disease, and the BD Angiocath group has the highest rate of breast appearance.(5)For patients with lumps and fistulas, the total quality of life score and breast appearance quality rate of the pure Chinese medicine group were higher than those of the surgical Chinese medicine group;for patients with abscess, the total score of quality of life in the surgical Chinese medicine group is higher than that in the pure Chinese medicine group, and the rate of excellent breast appearance is lower than in the pure Chinese medicine group.(6)During the period of oral Chinese medicine,no adverse local or systemic adverse drug reactions occurred in the two groups of patients. Conclusion: For patients with different stages of the disease, the two groups of treatment methods have their own advantages and disadvantages.Clinically, for patients who have high requirements for breast appearance, fear of surgery, and fear of postoperative wound pain without considering the cost, conservative treatment with oral Chinese medicine is recommended;Patients who pursue short course and rapid curative effect and have less requirements on breast appearance can be actively treated with surgery. In the clinic, treatment recommendations should be given with full consideration of the patient's own conditions, and the patient's autonomous choice should be respected.
