Objective: To explore the relationship between hypothyroidism in pregnancy and sleep.Methods: The objectives comes from Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University obstetric outpatient department was selected to examine the pregnant women who were diagnosed with hypothyroidism during pregnancy as the study group,and the comparable normal pregnant women as the control group duration in October 2017 to December 2019.The sleep related indicators of pregnant women were obtained through questionnaire survey,the sleep related indicators(PSQI,Epworth,MEQ)of pregnant women,analyzed The relationship between sleep scales and thyroid function.Results: 1.Drowsiness of the two groups: the total score of drowsiness in the hypothyroidism group was 10.0±0.51,the total score of drowsiness in the control group was 7.7±0.32,there was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05);2.In the hypothyroidism pregnancy,there were 15 cases of early morning type,12 cases of middle type,23 cases of night type;in the control group,there were 17 cases of early morning type,13 cases of middle type,20 cases of night type.It can be seen that the sleep type of the second trimester group is mainly night type,but there is no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);3.The total score of PSQI in the two groups: the average score of pregnant women in the study group is 9.84±2.83,and that in the control group is 7.75±3.53,there is statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05);4 AIS score of the two groups: according to the AIS score table,there was insomnia in both groups.Insomnia of hypothyroidism pregnant women(average insomnia score 7.5±0.38)was more serious than that of normal pregnant women(average insomnia score 5.0± 0.52).There was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05);5.Correlation between FT4,TSH,TPOAb and total score of sleep index in hypothyroidism pregnant women: FT4 was not significantly correlated with PSQI(r=-0.092,P=0.615),ESS(r=0.133,P=0.469),FS-14(r=-0.141,P=0.443),and MEQ(r=0.105,P=0.567),and was negatively correlated with AIS(r=-0.482,P=0.243).TSH was positively correlated with PSQI(r=0.609,P<0.05),but not with ESS(r=0.235,P=0.235),FS-14(r=0.349,P=0.060),and MEQ(r=0.064,P=0.727).TPOAb was not correlated with PSQI(r=-0.019,P=0.916),ESS(r=0.024,P=0.894),FS-14(r=-0.081,P=0.66),and MEQ(r=0.661,P=0.602).Conclusion: The problem of sleep disorder in hypothyroidism during pregnancy is more serious than normal pregnant women.The early detection of thyroid function in pregnant women can prevent serious complications and find out the causes of sleep disorders at the same time,and early intervention can improve sleep quality.
