Objective: To explore the value of metagenomics next-generation sequencing in the diagnosis of neurobrucellosis.Methods:Twenty-five patients with suspected n neurobrucellosis admitted to the Department of Neurology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital from September 2016 to September 2019 were selected as the research object, and finally 10 cases were diagnosed with neurobrucellosis,15 patients were finally diagnosed with non-neurobrucellosis,and all of them were tested by cerebrospinal fluid tube agglutination test, cerebrospinal fluid culture and cerebrospinal fluid metagenomics next-generation sequencing test, and the sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value, positive of the three detection methods Predictive value. Results: Sensitivity comparison: The difference between CSF SAT and CSF culture was statistically significant(P = 0.0055);CSF test tube agglutination test and CSF metagenomics next-generation sequencing were not statistically significant(P> 0.05);CSF culture and CSF 2 The difference between the metagenomics next-generation sequencing tests was statistically significant(P = 0.0055).Specificity comparison: CSF test tube agglutination test and cerebrospinal fluid culture,CSF test tube agglutination test and cerebrospinal fluid metagenomics next-generation sequencing test, cerebrospinal fluid culture and cerebrospinal fluid metagenomics next-generation sequencing test showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The metagenomics next-generation sequencing detection technology has a higher value in the diagnosis of neurobrucellosis, which can improve its sensitivity, while maintaining a higher specificity, combined with conventional detection methods can increase the detection rate, which can be Early diagnosis of neurobrucellosis provides an important basis.
