Objective: To explore the correlation between prognostic nutrition index(PNI)and prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Methods: A total of 205 patients with chronic heart failure and atrial fibrillation who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from March 2018 to December 2019 were included in the study.Clinical data were collected and the prognostic nutrition index was calculated by using plasma albumin and lymphocyte counts at admission.according to the drawn receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve to obtain the best cutoff value of PNI,according to the best cutoff value, patients were divided into PNI 1 group(PNI ? 46.2,n = 91)and PNI 2 group(PN> 46.2,n =114),and the Cox proportional hazard model was used to analyze the prognostic factors affecting patients with chronic heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Results: The mean survival time of PNI 1 group and PNI 2 group was 20.348 months and 21.059 months respectively.Univariate analysis showed diastolic blood pressure,BMI,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein, left ventricular diastolic, and smoking, medication compliance, and PNI were all related to disease prognosis;multivariate analysis showed that smoking history, medication compliance, and PNI were risk factors for disease survival. Conclusion: PNI is related to the prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure and atrial fibrillation...
