Gastric cancer is one of the high incidence of malignant tumors in the world.Because of gastric cancer symptoms of secretiveness and non-specific,most gastric cancer patients are already in the advanced gastric cancer when they see a doctor.Advanced metastasis is the leading cause of high advanced gastric cancer mortality rate.Currently mechanism of gastric cancer metastasis, has been widely studied a lot by many domestic and overseas scholars. In general,it is divided into six stages:(1)metastatic spread of malignant tumor cells from the primary ones,(2)give cancer cells are given anti-(3)apoptosis ability,to avoid the host anti-(4)tumor immunity,(5)breakthrough around the matrix barrier, through the(6)blood circulation system or lymphatic system, planted to another organ, finishing the formation of new lesions, which possessed the same characteristics with the original lesion. This is a complex multi-step,multi-factor and multi-gene co-synergistic or antagonistic process involving a variety of growth factors including vascular growth factors such as fibroblast growth factor,platelet-reactive protein, epidermal cell growth factor, epidermal growth factor receptor,cyclooxygenase-2 and so on.Some studies have shown that E-cad and BDNF are involved in the process of invasion and metastasis of tumor invasion and play a vital role in this process. Therefore,it is the important primary task to study the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of gastric cancer according to the transfer mechanism.ObjectiveTo study and analyze the expression changes of two factors in the gastric cancer tissue and the adjacent tissues and normal tissue, and compare the relationship between the two factors and gastric cancer clinicopathological factors, gastric cancer-related immunological markers,Hp infection, and the two factors.MethodImmunohistochemical: Streptavidin-peroxidase(SP)method was used to detect the expression of cadherin E and brain-derived neurotrophic factor in gastric epithelium in 65 cases of gastric cancer central tissue,65 cases of normal tissues and 40 cases of normal gastric mucosa.Additionally, the relationship between the expression of two factors and clinical clinicopathological factors: the age, sex, tumor diameter(cm),gastric cancer differenttiation, lymph node metastasis,Lauren classification,TNM staging,CEA,CA19-9,CA 72-4,Helicobacter pylori infection were compared by the statistical analysis.Result1.The expression rate of cadherin E in gastric cancer central tissue group was lower than that in normal gastric mucosa epithelium group and adjacent normal tissue group. And the expression rate of brain-derived neurotrophic factor in gastric cancer central tissue group was statistically significant higher than that in normal stomach mucosa tissue epithelium and adjacent normal tissue(P<0.05).2.The expression of cadherin E and clinicopathological factors: the relationship between the expression of cadherin E and lymph node metastasis, gastric cancer differentiation and TNM staging, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),while The difference was not statistically significant with tumor diameter size(cm),patient age and gender(P>0.05).The expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor were significantly correlated with tumor diameter(cm),lymph node metastasis, gastric cancer differentiation and TNM staging, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),however the difference was not statistically significant with age and gender(P>0.05).3.The difference was statistically significant between cadherin E,brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression and gastric cancer histological lauren type(P<0.05).4.The expression of cadherin E and brain-derived neurotrophic factor was not associated with gastric cancer-related immunological markers CA19-9,CA72-4 and CEA,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).5.The difference was statistically significant between cadherin E,brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression and Helicobacter pylori infection(P<0.05).6.E-cad and BDNF expression has nothing to do with each other,so they can be used as an independent effect of gastric cancer factor(P>0.05).Conclusion1.The expression of cadherin E and brain-derived neurotrophic factor was related to the development of gastric cancer.2.The expression of cadherin E and brain-derived neurotrophic factor was connected with Helicobacter pylori infection, histological classification of Lauren, but E-cad and BDNF expression has nothing to do with each other, they can be used as an independent effect of gastric cancer factor, indicating that the two factors respectively may be associated with Helicobacter pylori infection,Lauren classification in the gastric cancer growth process. Moreover, there are potential mechanis-ms/pathway for them to antagonism another factor,to affect gastric cancer transfer, infiltration process.
