BACKGROUND AND PURPOSEAt present,China has gradually entered the aging society,at the same time, due to reasons such as diet, living and working pressures, the incidence of stroke shows an increasing trend, and significantly earlier age of onset.Stroke morbidity, high mortality and poor prognosis, the huge economic costs become an important social issue.A large number of epidemiological studies have shown that acute cerebral infarction(ACI)is the most common type of stroke, which has become one of the most important risk factors for elderly health threat.Acute cerebral infarction is a number of pathological and clinical syndrome which caused by a variety of reasons. With the deepening of neuroscience,we have already identified the main risk factors of acute cerebral infarction include:hypertension, impaired glucose tolerance and diabetes, atherosclerosis, smoking, alcohol ism can be controlled, age, race and other uncontrollable factors. With the in-depth study found that Hyperhomocysteine(HHcy)is an independent risk factor for acute cerebral infarction. In addition, serum C-reactive protein is a marker for a class of systemic reactions may be involved in the occurrence of atherosclerosis, and is one of the most important markers of cardiovascular disease. This study was designed to further investigate homocysteine(Hcy)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in patients with acute cerebral infarction.MethodsIn this study,we selected 184 cases of acute cerebral infarction as observed object, and were divided by gender as male in the observation group, female in the observation group;180 age and sex-matched healthy people as the control group and the control group divided into male in the control group, female in the control group;within 24 hours after admission, the observation group and control group on the same day examed Fasting venous blood, used cycle enzyme method to determine Hcy level, with scattering than capacity method determine CRP level;determined uric acid(UA),cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL),low density lipoprotein(LDL),fibrinogen(Fib),glucose(GLU).Logistic regression analysis for acute cerebral infarction with Hcy,CRP;studied the influencing factors of Hcy,CRP with Spearman rank correl ation analysis.Result1.The observation group and control group had no significant difference in age, gender, body mass index, smoking, drinking and so on(P> 0.05).2.The observation group compared with the control group,Hcy,CRP of the observation group were higher, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).3.Excluding the impact of gender, men in the observation group Hcy,CRP levels were significantly higher than men in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Hcy,CRP levels of female observation group were significantly higher than women in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).All of them had no significant difference in age, serum lipid,UA(P> 0.05).4.Hcy,CRP levels of male in the observation group and Hcy,CRP levels of female in the observation group are substantially equal, the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).There is also no significant difference in age, serum lipid,UA(P> 0.05).5.Hcy,CRP level of large area cerebral infarction group were higher than in small and medium-sized area group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Indices such as age, serum lipid,UA in the two groups are not significant(P> 0.05).6.Logistic regression analysis showed that: Hcy,CRP is an independent risk factor for acute cerebral infarction.7.Spearman rank correlation analysis showed: Hcy is correlated with UA(r=0.163,P=0.002),age(r=0.168,P=0.001);Hcy are correlated with CRP(r=0.359,P=0.000).Conclusion1.Elevated plasma Hcy is an independent risk factor for acute cerebral infarction.2.Elevated serum CRP is an independent risk factor for acute cerebral infarction.3.Plasma Hcy,serum CRP concentration were positively correlated with cerebral infarction area.4.Plasma Hcy level is correlated with age,UA.but has no significant correlation with gender, lipid,Glu and Fib.5.Serum CRP level has no significant correlation with age,UA,gender, lipid Glu and Fib.
