Objective1.To evaluate the correlation between the non-allergic rhinitis and the air inflamma tion by using meta analysis.2.To afford a better scientific evidence for the treatment and prevention of the air inflammation diseases.MethodsThe case-control study and cohort study about the correlation between the non-allergic rhinitis and the airway inflammation that published on CNKI,PubMed,Embase,WanFang Data, from January 2000 to November 2015,were searched by computer computer. Two reviewers independently filtered the literature according to the consistent selection and exclusion criteria, extracted the data of literature's feature, and assessed the quality of literature by Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. This meta analysis was performed by RevMan 5.3.The statistics were combined by using either fixed or random effects model according to the heterogeneity.Calculated the odds ratio(OR),mean difference(MD)and 95% confidence interval(CI),and displayed the results of statistic analysis by the forest plots.Made a thorough inquiry about the source of heterogeneity among the studies, and evaluated the stability of the conclusion by sensitivity analysis.ResultsThere were 7 case-control studies included after filtering literature that meets the selection criteria.Assessed the literature by case-control study,3 of them get 8 points, and 4 of them get 7 points. The results of meta analysis showed that there were significant difference in Eosinophil counts of serum, nasal lavage fluid, induced sputum, and the positive rates of bronchial provocation test between two groups. There were no significant difference in FVC pred%?FEV1 pred%?FEV1/FVC between two groups. The level of FeNO in NAR group were significantly higher than the control group,[MD=4.72,95%CI(1.89,7.55),P=0.001];the level of Eosinophil counts of nasal lavage fluid in NAR group were significantly higher than the control group,[MD=4.54,95%CI(3.36,5.72),P<0.00001];the level of Eosinophil counts of induced sputum in NAR group were significantly higher than the control group,[MD=0.72,95%CI(0.50,0.95),P<0.00001];the level of Eosinophil counts of serum in NAR group were significantly higher than the control group,[MD=0.79,95%CI(0.38,1.21),P=0.0002];FEV1 pred% were no significant difference between NAR group and control group,[MD=-0.93,95%CI(-2.22,0.36),P=0.16];FVC pred% were no significant difference between NAR group and control group,[MD=-0.57,95%CI(-2.45,1.31),P=0.55];FEV1/ FVC% were no significant difference between NAR group and control group,[MD=-1.51,95%CI(-4.06,1.04),P=0.25];the level of the positive rates of bronchial provocation test in NAR group were significantly higher than the control group,[OR=5.28,95%CI(2.37,11.76),P<0.0001].ConclusionThe results of meta analysis showed that there were significant difference in Eosinophil counts of serum, nasal lavage fluid, induced sputum, and the positive rates of bronchial provocation test between two groups. There were no significant difference in FVC pred%?FEV1 pred%?FEV1/FVC between two groups. This meta analysis conclusion still needs more high quality and scientific RCTs to confirme.
