Study On The Correlation Between Nocturnal Enuresis And Chronic Obstructive Ventilatory Dysfunction

ObjectiveThis study is to explore the relationship between nocturnal enuresis and chronic obstructive ventilatory dysfunction by investigating the correlation between nocturnal enuresis and sleep related breathing disorder,asthma,and pulmonary ventilation.It's in order to explore simple and effective methods of treatment.Methods(1)Sleep related breathing disorder factors:By completing sleep-related respiratory disorder subscale who with nocturnal enuresis,it's to explore the relationship between nocturnal enuresis and sleep related breathing disorder and to analyze the risk factors.(2)Asthma factors: To study the incidence of nocturnal enuresis in asthmatic children,and explore the relationship and risks of nocturnal enuresis in asthmatic children by taking detection of Eosinophils and IgE.(3)Pulmonary function factors: To investigate the relationship between nocturnal enuresis and pulmonary ventilation dysfunction by performing the pulmonary ventilation function test on children who with nocturnal enuresis.ResultsPart One: Relationship between nocturnal enuresis and sleep related breathing disorder(1)The ratio of sleep related breathing disorder on children with nocturnal enuresis was significantly higher than that on children with normal controls,that is 29.0% to 13.1%.The difference is with a statistical significance(P<0.05).(2)Compared the sleep-related breathing disorder subscale scores of children with nocturnal enuresis between Group Mild,Group Moderate,and Group Severe in pairs.There was no difference between Group Mild and Group Moderate.There was no difference between Group Moderate and Group Severe,but there was a difference between Group Mild and Group Severe(P<0.05).(3)Contrasted the data of snoring,nocturnal respiratory problems,open mouth breathing,daytime sleepiness and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders in sleep-related breathing disorder subscale of children between nocturnal enuresis and normal controls,it was found there was only difference in attention deficit hyperactivity disorders between two groups(P<0.05).(4)By the comparison of attention deficit hyperactivity disorders between nocturnal enuresis children of different sex,it was found that there was no statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Nocturnal enuresis children with sleep related breathing disorder and non-sleep related breathing disorder were compared in terms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder,it was found that children with nocturnal enuresis and sleep related breathing disorder were more prominent in attention deficit hyperactivity disorders(P<0.05).Part two: Relationship between nocturnal enuresis and asthma(1)Asthma group and normal children group analysis,asthma combination nocturnal enuresis ratio is higher than the normal children group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)There was no statistically significant difference in age,gender,eosinophil count,and IgE between children with asthma and nocturnal enuresis and children only with asthma(P<0.05).Part three: Relationship between nocturnal enuresis and pulmonary ventilationCompared nocturnal enuresis groupe with normal groupe,obstructive ventilatory dysfunction was higher in nocturnal enuresis groupe(P<0.05).ConclusionNocturnal enuresis is associated with sleep related breathing disorder,asthma,and pulmonary ventilation in children.Chronic obstructive ventilatory dysfunction results in the development and progression of nocturnal enuresis.For children with nocturnal enuresis combined with obstructive respiratory disease,attempts may improve nocturnal enuresis by improving ventilation.
