Objective Breast cancer is the second most common malignant tumors in the world and has always threatened the physical and mental health of female patients. With the continuous research on breast cancer, the occurrence and progression of tumor cells gradually revealed.Studies have shown that Six1 plays a certain role in the occurrence and development of breast cancer. In this study, the clinical and pathological data of 104 breast cancer patients were collected to explore the relationship between the expression of Six1 in breast cancer tissues and its clinical and pathological characteristics and prognosis. Methods The clinical and pathological datas of 104 breast cancer patients undergoing surgical treatment in our department from May 2014 to May 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. The expression level of Six1 in breast cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry.SPSS 23.0 software was used for datas processing and statistical analysis.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used for survival analysis,GraphPad Prism was used to draw and analyze survival curves, and the cox proportional hazard model was used to analyze the main influencing factors for breast cancer survival. The relationship between the expression differences and the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of patients was analyzed. Results In this experiment, there were 60 cases of breast cancer tissues with high expression of Six1 and 44 cases of low expression in 104 patients. In normal tissues,10 cases were overexpressed and 94 cases were underexpressed. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).According to statistical analysis, there was no significant difference in the age of Six1 expression in breast cancer tissues of patients(P>0.05).Grouping was based on the tumor diameter of 50 mm.The expression rate of Six1 in breast cancer tissues with tumor diameter?50mm increased significantly.Compared with breast cancer tissues with tumor diameter less than50 mm,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression of Six1 was related to lymph node metastasis, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).With the increase of the number of positive lymph nodes. The expression was significantly increased(P<0.05).In terms of tumor histology classification,G3 stage was better than G1 stage or G2 stage. The expression rate of Six1 was significantly increased(P<0.05);cox multivariate regression analysis suggested that the expression of Six1 could be used as an independent risk factor to affect the prognosis of breast cancer patients. Conclusion In this study,we conclude that Six1 can promote the development of breast cancer, its high expression is negatively related to the survival rate of breast cancer patients, and tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis, number of lymph node metastasis and pathological grade are all risk factors affecting the prognosis of breast cancer patients.Six1 may be a tumor marker to predict the prognosis of breast cancer patients Things.
