| Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of bronchoalveolar lavage in the treatment of children with bacterial pneumonia and atelectasis, and to further guide the treatment of children with bacterial pneumonia and atelectasis. Methods: Through retrospective the study of 97 children of bacterial pneumonia with atelectasis diagnosed in the respiratory department of the Children’s Hospital of Chenzhou from October 2017 to December 2019,they were divided into the lavage group and control group(55 cases in the lavage group and 42 cases in the control group)according to whether bronchoalveolar lavage was completed or not. Both groups received routine treatment such as respiratory control inflammation, aerosol inhalation, physical therapy, symptomatic treatment, and the lavage group was treated with bronchoalveolar lavage in addition to the routine treatment of respiratory department.By comparing the main clinical manifestations(cough, lung rales)disappearance time, lung function improvement, treatment effect, hospitalization time, and hospitalization cost of the two groups of children after treatment,to analyze the effect of bronchoalveolar lavage in the treatment of bacterial pneumonia and atelectasis in children.Results:(1)Compared the lavage group with the control group in the age of onset, gender, weight, course of disease, main clinical manifestations, perfect imaging and pulmonary function results within 24 hours after admission, the difference was not statistically significant.(2)The disappearance time of main clinical manifestations of the lavage group after treatment was shorter than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.(3)Compared the lavage group with the control group in the improvement effect of the pulmonary function(FVC 、 FEV1 、 PEF 、MMEF),the lavage group was obviously better than that of the control group on the 10 th day of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant.(4)The total effective rate of the clinical efficacy of the lavage group was obviously higher than that of the control group on the 10 th day of treatment, and the difference was statistically significant.(5)The average of hospitalization time and cost in the lavage group were less than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion:Bronchoalveolar lavage in the treatment of bacterial pneumonia and atelectasis may improve lung recruitment and recover pulmonary function. It also may short the hospitalization time and reduce the hospitalization cost. What’s more,it may improve the clinical treatment effect. |
