Objective: Based on the theory of "kidney function control defecation theory",the method of invigorating the kidney is used to treat constipation of both qi and yin deficiency. Methods: 1.Research 1 literature research, manually search three major databases(Weipu Chinese Science and Technology Periodicals Database,Wanfang Digital Resource System,China How Net),using "constipation","traditional Chinese medicine","Chinese medicine" and other search terms, collecting nearly 5 The relevant prescriptions for the treatment of constipation were analyzed statistically using SPSS26.0 software to summarize the potential regular characteristics of constipation medication.2.Research 2Clinical study,120 cases of constipation patients with qi and yin deficiency as the main manifestation were selected, and were divided into two groups according to random number table method,60 cases in each group. The observation group was added on the basis of Huangqi decoction + Zengye decoction,20 grams of Polygonum multiflorum,30 grams of Cistanche,30 grams of mulberry(medicine one yin one yang one level, meaning implying yin seeking yang and yang seeking yin);the control group does not addkidney medicine.Observe the changes of clinical indicators before treatment, treatment for 1 month, treatment for 2 months, treatment after 3 months, adverse reactions and other two groups. Results: 1.This study screened a total of 99 eligible constipation prescriptions, with a time span from March 2015 to March 2020.In this study,a total of 151 Chinese medicines were used, with a total of 940 medications. The most commonly used medicines for constipation were Qi-invigorating drugs(22.16%),Qi-regulating drugs(15.54%),blood-enriching drugs(12.70%),and diarrhea medicines(11.08%);From the perspective of single medicine, the frequency of use is Atractylodes macrocephala(58),Angelica(53),Asako kernel(44),Licorice(43),Astragalus(40),Zhishi(36),Cistanche(33),Shengdi(33),Magnolia officinalis(25),almond(24).2.(1)Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.(2)The total score of clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, after 1 month of treatment, the score of the treatment group was better than the control group, there was a significant statistical difference,P <0.05;after 2 months of treatment, the score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference,P<0.05.(3)Bristol stool trait score, after 1 month of treatment, the score was not statistically significant,P>0.05,the two groups were equivalent;after 2months of treatment, the score was statistically significant,P<0.05,the treatment group was better than the control group.(4)Comparison ofspontaneous average bowel movements between the two groups after treatment. After 1 month of treatment, the efficacy of the treatment group was comparable to the control group,P>0.05,no significant statistical difference;after 2 months of treatment, there was a significant statistical difference,P<0.05 The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(5)Comparing the recurrence rate of the two groups after 3months of treatment, the recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,P<0.05,which was statistically significant.(6)For safety comparison,no adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclution: 1.The most commonly used drugs for treating constipation are Qi-invigorating drugs,Qi-regulating drugs,blood-enriching drugs, and diarrhea medicines;the single drugs are used more frequently in the order of Atractylodes,Angelica,Asparagus,Licorice,Astragalus,Citrus aurantium,Cistanche deserticola,Habitat Pak and almonds.Reverse push clinical, constipation is more common.2.Kidney-tonifying method can improve the scores of symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine for constipation of both Qi and Yin deficiency, scores of stool traits, improve the average number of spontaneous bowel movements per week, and reduce the recurrence rate. This may be related to the deficiency of the kidney.3."kidney function control defecation " theory may have some clinical practice support in the clinical application of qi and yin deficiency typeconstipation.
