Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compresion Fractures With Taohong Siwu Decoction And PKP

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified taohong siwu decoction in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compresion fracture after PKP,and provide a new idea for the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compresion fracture with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:A total of 60 patients were selected from the department of orthopedics of the second affiliated hospital of nanjing university of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2018 to December 2019.They were randomly divided into two groups:experimental group and control group.Both groups received oral calcium carbonate D3 tablets,calcitonin capsules and intramuscular injection of salmon calcitonin in accordance with the requirements of the guidelines.The experimental group was treated on the basis of the treatment of the control group and supplemented with flavorized rose pink siwu soup,which was started on the first day after the surgery until the patients were discharged two weeks after the surgery.VAS score and ODI index of the two groups were observed before and after 1 day,7 days,14 days and 1 month.SPs21.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data.Results:1.After statistical analysis,there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the preoperative general conditions(gender,age)(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.The results showed that the analgesic effect of the experimental group was not significantly different from that of the control group in a short time,but the analgesic effect was more and more obvious with the prolongation of the treatment time.3.The results showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the recovery of patients' function in a short time,but with the extension of treatment time,the recovery of patients' functional activities was better.Conclusion:Flavour-added peach siwu decoction can significantly relieve the lumbar and back pain in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compresion fracture after receiving PKP,improve their self-care ability and improve their quality of life,which is worthy of clinical application.
