Objective:To evaluate the clinical prognosis of PCI treatment for coronary artery chronic total occlusion(CTO)by Meta-analysis.Methods : The computer searches PubMed,Cochranelibrary,Wanfang Medical Network,CNKI and other databases to comprehensively collect clinical prognosis observation of CTO patients after PCI treatment. Two cardiologists selected the documents according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria through independent search of the database documents, incorporated the documents into composite articles after cross-combination,extracted the relevant test data, and analyzed the data using the relevant statistical software(Revman software). Results: Fifteen articles were included in qualitative synthetic articles(3,4,7-19)and 13694 CTO patients were included in the study. The study showed that the OR value of MACE event incidence effect index for CTO patients who had been successfully treated by PCI was 0.55(95% confidence interval 0.41~0.75,P = 0.0001);The OR value of allcause mortality effect index is 0.46(95% confidence interval 0.31~0.68,P = 0.0001);The OR value of cardiac death effect index was 0.48(95% confidence interval 0.30~0.77,P = 0.002);The OR value of CABG effect index was 0.16(95% confidence interval 0.07~0.36,P<0.0001),which was statistically significant. However, the recurrence of myocardial infarction(OR: 0.79(95% confidence interval 0.61~1.02,P=0.07))and re-acceptance of PCI(OR: 0.65(95% confidence interval 0.36~1.19,P=0.71))cannot be reduced. Conclusion: CTO patients successfully treated by PCI can reduce the incidence of MACE events, reduce the all-cause mortality of patients, cardiac death and patients receiving CABG again, improve the survival rate and prolong the life of patients.
