Objective:By quantifying the difference in existence, severity and distribution of Shaoyang syndrome between patients with Knee Osteoarthritis and normal people, and the relationship between the joint function, imaging grading and Shaoyang syndrome in patients with Knee Osteoarthritis and Shaoyang syndrome, the aim is to improve the accuracy of syndrome differentiation in the treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis by traditional Chinese medicine,so as to improve the diagnostic efficiency and clinical efficacy.Method:Based on the theoretical relationship between knee osteoarthritis and Shaoyang syndrome, the collected data are studied with statistical methods. The main contents include:?Further summarize and extract the theoretical essence of professor Shi Qi and Ma Yong.?Relying on the department of Traumatology&Orthopedics,Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine to collect 150 cases of Knee Osteoarthritis patients in line with the inclusion criteria, collect patient information, including:basic information, knee joint function(WOMAC score),pain score(VAS score),imaging grading(Kellgren-Lawrence grade),Shaoyang syndrome data, etc.;Relying on the community activities of the affiliated hospital and the graduate student association of Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine activities, collect 100 the basic data of 100 normal people.?To establish evaluation criteria for evaluating the existence and severity of Shaoyang syndrome.? After sorting out and inputing the data, statistical analysis is performed by chi-square test correlation analysis, linear regression analysis and other methods,to obtain the statistical inference of the association between joint functional imaging grading and shaoyang syndrome in patients with Knee Osteoarthritis? To carry out systematic combing and summary, draw conclusions.Results:(1)The higher the BMI index of patients with KOA and Shaoyang syndrome, the higher the imaging grade, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).There are significant differences in the age of the three Chinese medicine certificate groups, the age of patients with Syndrome of Wind-Cold-Damp Bi is the smallest, the age of patients with Liver-kidney Deficiency Pattern is the oldest, the distribution of patients' age is Syndrome of Wind-Cold-Damp Bi<Syndrome of Blockade of Static Blood<Liver-kidney Deficiency Pattern, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)The number of patients with Shaoyang syndrome in people who have KOA is much higher than the normal people. The average Shaoyang syndrome points in the KOA group are higher than that of normal people, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).There are also differences in the distribution of the Shaoyang syndrome point of two groups, the distribution difference of normal people is larger, more concentrated in 0-2 points, while the distribution of KOA patients is more average, concentrated between 2-6 points.(3)Imaging grading,VAS score, pain score, stiffness score, physical function score in knee WOMAC score and knee WOMAC total score and Shaoyang syndrome points of patients with KOA are significant positive correlative, with statistical significance(P<0.05).(4)VAS score, pain score, stiffness score, physical function score in knee WOMAC score and knee WOMAC total score and Shaoyang syndrome points of patients with KOA gradually increase with the increase of imaging grade, with statistical significance(P<0.05).(5)There is a positive correlation between different TCM syndromes and K/L imaging grades, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There are more patients of Level I of X-ray performance in Syndrome of Wind-Cold-Damp Bi Group;Level III,IV found more in Syndrome of Blockade of Static Blood Group and Liver-kidney Deficiency Pattern Group. The X-ray manifestations of Syndrome of Blockade of Static Blood Group and Liver-kidney Deficiency Pattern Group are more serious than Syndrome of Wind-Cold-Damp Bi Group.(6)Scores of Shaoyang syndrome,VAS score, total score of pain, total score of stiffness, total score of body function and total score of WOMAC are different among different syndrome groups. In terms of scores of Shaoyang syndrome,VAS score, total score of pain, total score of stiffness,in Liver-kidney Deficiency Pattern Group is significantly higher than the other two groups(P<0.05).The total score of physical function in Syndrome of Wind-C old-Damp Bi Group is significantly lower than the other two(P<0.05).The differences of the total score of WOMAC are similar among these groups, the lowest is in Syndrome of Wind-Cold-Damp Bi Group, the second is in Syndrome of Blockade of Static Blood Group, and the highest is in Liver-kidney Deficiency Pattern Group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Shaoyang syndrome has a significant influence on the occurrence and development of KOA.Patients with Shaoyang syndrome are prone to KOA and Shaoyang syndrome can aggravate the severity of KOA.The scientificity of the theory of "Shaoyang dominating bones" is verified, and it is considered as one of the basic ideas for the treatment of KOA.In addition to referring to the existing syndrome types, the combined syndrome type of"Shaoyang disharmony " should also be taken into account during the syndrome differentiation,so as to improve the accuracy of KOA syndrome differentiation in traditional Chinese medicine. It is suggested that " Method of Dredging Shaoyang " can also be used as a new method for treating KOA,and it is worth further clinical research and promotion.
