Objective:To observe the effect of "Tiaogan Xifeng" acupuncture on the behavior and psychology of children with Tourette disorder by evaluating the whole severity scale of Yale Tourette Syndrome(YGTSS)and Achenbach Child behavior Checklist(CBCL)before and after treatment.Methods:Forty children who met the inclusion criteria were diagnose and treatment in Tourette syndrome in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2018 to December 2019.They were randomly divided into treatment group(n=20)and control group(n=20).The treatment group was treated with the acupuncture method of "Tiaogan Xifeng"acupuncture combined with behavioral intervention therapy,while the control group was only treated with behavioral intervention therapy.The patients were treated three times a week and three months as a course of treatment.Before and after treatment,the children were evaluated with Yale Tourette Global severity scale(YGTSS)and Child behavior scale(CBCL).Results:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria set by this study,a total of forty patients who met the requirements were randomly divided into two groups.There was no significant difference in age,sex and disease degree between the two groups(P>0.05).Comparison of YGTSS tic severity score between the two groups:the YGTSS score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05),indicating that the treatment group improved more obviously.After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 95%,while that of the control group was 55%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Comparison of the scores of CBCL Child behavior scale:after treatment,the scores of withdrawal,anxiety and depression,somatic complaints,thinking problems,disciplinary violations and introverted behavior problems in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05.The total scores of social problems,attention problems,aggressive behavior,extroverted behavior problems and behavior problems in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group.Conclusion:1.The acupuncture method of "Tiaogan Xifeng" acupuncture combined with behavioral intervention therapy has more advantages than behavioral intervention therapy in improving the tic severity of children with Tourette syndrome.2.The acupuncture method of"Tiaogan Xifeng" acupuncture combined with behavioral intervention therapy has more advantages than behavioral intervention therapy in improving social problems,attention problems,aggressive behavior,extroverted behavior problems and the total degree of behavioral problems in children with TS. |
