Objective: In recent years,researchers have found that the new Aspergillus causes severe invasive aspergillosis,increasing number of the invasive Aspergillosis were reported,which has a similar morphology to Aspergillus(A.)fumigatus and is difficult to distinguish.One,described by American scholars in 2005,was named Aspergillus(A.)lentulus because of its slow sporulation and intolerance to high temperature.To study the new Aspergillus sp.,we established the larvae of the Galleria mellonella as an infection model.At present,the Galleria mellonella is widely used to study the virulence and pathogenesis of fungi,bacteria and viruses.The Galleria mellonella larva was used as an infection model to analyze the response of the Galleria mellonella larva to the infection A.lentulus sister bacteria of Aspergillus niger,including mortality,melanization and overall score,and to evaluate the significance of the infection model A.lentulus related studies.Methods:The virulence of each group was evaluated according to the survival curve of the insect after infection.The virulence of each group was evaluated according to the black depth of the body surface after infection.Results: Virulence study of Galleria mellonella larvae for A.lentulus.Virulence of A.lentulus clinical isolates is concentration dependent.After A.lentulus infection with larvae,it can lead to melanization,and the degree of blackening is positively related to the concentration and virulence of bacterial suspension.a health scoring system is suitable for A.lentulus larval infection model study with the same score as mortality trend.A.lentulus the poor prognosis of infected patients may not be due to the virulence of bacteria,but the patient's immune base is related,or the combination of the two.Galleria mellonella larvae are cheap,multiply in large numbers,do not pass the lun examination,easy to operate and other advantages can be used for microbial virulence.Conclusion : The Galleria mellonella larvae are suitable for assessing the virulence of A.lentulus The clinical isolates of A.lentulus kill Galleria mellonella larvae in a concentration-dependent manner.The infection of larvae by A.lentulus can lead to melanogenesis,and the color change is positively correlated with the concentration and virulence of the strain.The health scoring system was applied to the A.lentulus model of Galleria mellonella larvae infection,with the same score as mortality trends.
