Purpose: To compare the clinical application effect of different sedative methods in CT examination of children.Method: A total of 60 children who had CT scans in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from October 2017 to February 2018 were collected.Children were randomly divided into the K group(0.5ml/kg chloral hydrate enema combined with 0.5mg/kg intravenous ketamine)and the M group(0.5ml/kg chloral hydrate enema combined with 0.05mg/kg intravenous midazolam),with 30 cases in each group, and the hemodynamic indexes, sedative satisfaction,RSS score for sedation, sedative onset time, sedative awakening time and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed.Result: There was a statistically significant difference in RSS scores between the two groups after 10 min,20min and 30 min of administration(P < 0.05),and the RSS scores of the M group were better than those of the K group during CT examination. The differences in onset time, resuscitation time and total sedation time of children were statistically significant(P < 0.05).One child in group M had motion artifacts during CT scanning, while two children in group K had motion artifacts. There was no significant difference in the respiratory rate and blood oxygen saturation between the two groups(P > 0.05).There was a significant difference in the mean heart rate and blood pressure between the two groups(P < 0.05).During the period of medication and awakening,2 children in group K had restlessness,1 had respiratory depression, and 1 had nausea and vomiting. One child in group M had hypotension. Conclusion: compared with0.5ml/kg chloral hydrate enema combined with 0.5mg/kg intravenous infusion of ketamine,0.5ml/kg chloral hydrate enema combined with 0.05mg/kg intravenous infusion of midazolam in CT examination of children showed shorter and more stable recovery time.
