| Objective:To improve the value of identifiel diagnosis, the clinical CT images of benign and malignant tumors of Paritid Gland were measured and analyzed. Methods: A total of 253 patients with parotid gland tumors were retrospectively analyzed, icluding 211 patients with benign tumors and42 patients with maglinant tumors of Parotid Gland. It’s being collected and sort out that general data of patients, including age, sex, duration of disease of disease, etc, and the CT images which included the location of the tumor in the Parotid Gland, the density, the boundary, the shape, the cystic change, the proportion of the cystic area, the value of CT and the presense of lymphadenopathy. Finally, the collected data are analyzed statistically.Result:1.There were 253 patients with parotid tumors in this study, including 211 patients with benign tumors and 42 patients with malignant tumors. The ratio of benign tumors to malignant tumors was approximately 5.02..3.Among benign tumors of the parotid gland, there were 120 male patients and 97 female patients.Among the parotid malignant tumors, there were 17 male patients and 19 female patients;the difference was not statistically significant(P> 0.05).4.CT Image Analysis: The parotid benign and malignant tumors were statistically significant at the tumor-prone site, the tumor margins were clear, the tumor shape was regular, the number of intra-tumor cystic changes, the proportion of cystic change areas, and the location of cystic changes were significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:Benign tumors of the Parotid Gland usually are found in the superficial lobe of the parotid gland with clear margin and regular shape. The occurrence of cysts in the tumor is low and the cystic changes generally deviate is far from the center of the tumor. However, most of the malignant tumors occurrs in the superficial lobe of the parotid gland,However, most of the tumors that occur in the deep lobe of the parotid gland are malignant, the imaging of CT is often irregular in shape, unclear in the edges. The tumor is often accompanied by cystic changes and the cystic areacan account for a large proportion of the tumor with lymph node metastasis. |
