The Clinical Effect Of Malt-date-licorice Decoction And Its Addition And Subtraction Prescription On Treating Menopausal Functional Arthralgia

PurposesBy observing the pain degree of the joint,severity of climacteric symptoms and score of life quality before and after the treatment in the treatment group(Malt Dazao Licorice Decoction group)and the control group(Tebron group),we explored the effect of Malt Dazao Licorice Decoction on treating functional arthralgia in menopause(MFA).The clinical efficacy of this study provides more clinical evidence for the treatment of menopausal joint pain with Malt Dazao Gancao Decoction.MethodsIn this study,75 patients that is diagnosed with MFA Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2017 to August 2018 were selected as study subjects.All 75 patients met the diagnostic criteria of functional arthralgia in menopause,and TCM syndrome differentiation belonged to the criteria of "Zangzao".All participants were randomly divided into treatment group(37 cases)and control group(38 cases).The treatment group was treated with Malt Dazao Gancao Decoction that decocted with water,while the control group was treated with taking tibolone.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.We record the Visual analogue scale(VAS)score,improved Kupperman score and Menopause rating scale(MRS)was recorded of every patient before and after treatment to evaluate the pain degree of functional arthralgia in menopause,the severity of menopausal symptoms,and the quality of life.So that we are capable systematically evaluate the patients'condition and provide objective basis and clinical thinking for clinical treatment of MFA.Outcome1.There was no significant difference in VAS score,improved Kuppermanscore and MRS score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was clinically comparable.2.After treatment,the VAS score,improved Kupperman score and MRS scoreof the two groups decreased significantly(P<0.05).Compared with theobservation group,there were more adverse reactions in the control group(P<0·05).Conclusion1.Both Malt Dazao Gancao Decoction and Tibolone can be used to treat functional arthralgia in menopause.They have almost the same effect in improving the degree of functional arthralgia in menopause,the severity of menopausal symptoms and the quality of life in MFA.2.Compared with the subjects treated with tibolone,there were fewer adverse reactions in the treatment of functional arthralgia in menopause with the addition or subtraction of Malt Dazao Glycyrrhiza Decoction,suggesting that Malt Dazao Glycyrrhiza Decoction has more clinical advantages in the treatment of functional arthralgia.
