BackgroundSince the first health literacy monitoring in 2012,the health literacy level of urban and rural residents in China has continued to rise,but the overall level is still low.According to the 2017 Health Literacy Monitoring Report,the health literacy level of Chinese residents is 14.18%,which is still far from the goal of "the national health literacy level to 30%by 2030".Studies have shown that low health literacy levels are associated with poor health outcomes and risky health behaviors,and are also a negative factor in chronic disease self-management,self-efficacy,and quality of life.The low health literacy of residents leads to an increase in additional health care expenditures,which increases the burden on individuals and the national economy and induces major public health problems.Health education is an effective means to improve the public health literacy level.In recent years,new media has developed rapidly and has become the mainstream medium for health communication.The use of WeChat Official Accounts for health education and health communication is becoming more and more popular,among which public hospitals are the largest part of medical WeChat.At present,the quality of health education materials in both paper and new media is uneven.It is easy to mislead the public by making infrequent health communication materials.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a clear and comprehensive health education material evaluation tool to provide a basis for selecting high-quality health materials.The domestic evaluation of health education text materials is concentrated on paper media such as folding pages and brochures.The research on the text materials of new media focuses on the study of audience reading behavior,communication scope and communication effects,and has not yet developed the quality based on text materials evaluation tool.ObjectiveConstruct a comprehensive evaluation index system for health education text materials,compile a fitness evaluation scale for health education text materials under the new media,and conduct a reliability and validity test.The scale was used to evaluate the applicability of the WeChat public letter materials in public hospitals in Guangdong Province,analyze the existing problems and put forward specific and feasible reference opinions to improve the quality of health communication materials under the new media.Methods1.Using literature research method and Delphi method to construct a comprehensive evaluation index system for health education text materials,and use AHP to determine index weights.2.Based on the comprehensive evaluation index system of health education text materials,construct a fitness evaluation scale for health education text materials under the new media,and conduct a reliability and validity test.3.Using the cross-sectional study method to evaluate the applicability of the WeChat public letter materials in public hospitals in Guangdong Province,analyze the existing problems and put forward specific and feasible reference opinions.Results1.Construction of appraisal index system for health education text materials15 experts were invited to participate in the evaluation of the applicability evaluation index of health education text materials after two rounds of Delphi expert consultation,including 7 first-level indicators,28 second-level indicators,and 84 third-level indicators.The positive coefficients of both rounds of experts are 100%,the average authoritative coefficient is 0.87,the second round of first-level indicators are passed,and the expert coordination coefficients of the second-level and third-level indicators are 0.362 and 0.255.The top three indicators of the first-level indicator weight are content(0.27),behavior suggestion(0.19),and language expression(0.19);the highest-level index weight is content science(0.10),and the lowest is the use of commonly used numbers(0.01),correctly interpreting numbers and units(0.01).2.Reliability and validity test of the appraisal scale of health education text materials under the new mediaThe total scale consists of a master scale(applicable to all health education text materials)and an alternative dimension(applicable to textual materials with numerical characteristics),with the main scale 5 dimensions,18 entries,using the Likert-5 rating 5-1 points represent very consistent to non-conformity,with a total score of 90 points.The higher the score,the better the applicability.The exploratory factor analysis of the main scale showed that the load of each factor was between 0.478 and 0.919,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 61.224%.The confirmatory factor analysis showed that the 5-dimensional factor model fits well,and the model fitting index is?2/df=2.50.P<0.001,CFI=0.119,TLI=0.900,RMSEA=0.071,SRMR=0.0652 The total Cronbach's a coefficient of the main scale is 0.843,the Cronbach's a coefficient of each dimension is between 0.563-0.911,the test-retest reliability coefficient ICC is 0.760,the inter-rater reliability is 0.901,the candidate dimension includes 3 items,and the scoring method is the same with main scale,with a total score of 15 points,Cronbach's a coefficient is 0.620,and the test-retest reliability coefficient ICC is 0.8203.Overall evaluation of the applicability of health education text materials under the new media of the third-grade class-A hospital in Guangdong ProvinceThe applicability of new media health text materials in Guangdong Province is 66.57±9.04(score rate is 74%).The average scores and scores of each dimension are:"attractive attention" 21.09±4.36(70.3%),"professional vocabulary,"19.62±3.3 3(78.4%),"medical illustration" 8.22 ± 2.17(82.2%),"emphasis on key points"11.27±2.02(75.1%),"era characteristics" 6.37 ± 1.46(63.7%),"reasonable use of the number" 8.37 ± 1.70(55.8%).The differences in scores of healthy text materials with different themes,regions and originals were statistically significant(P<0.05),which showed that the daily health subjects scored higher than other types of topics;the Pearl River Delta region had the highest score and the western part of Guang-dong province had the lowest score;the original article scored higher than non-original articlesConclusions1.The comprehensive evaluation index system of health education text materials constructed in this study is scientific and practical,and can be used for the evaluation of health education text materials.2.The appraisal scale of health education text materials under the new media has good reliability and validity,and is an effective tool for evaluating health education articles.3.The applicability of the new media health text materials in Guangdong Province is at a medium level.There are problems such as insufficient normative and originality,obvious regional differences,and a large number of healthy materials and low quality.
