[Purpose] Based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT),this study explore the Use Intention of patients in mobile self-service inpatient systems. To provide suggestions for government and medical institutions sectors' improvement and development, this study investigates and analyzes the influencing factors of patients using mobile self-service inpatient systems. At the same time, this study also provides design blueprints and decision-making basis for other medical institutions.[Methods](1)Literature research method.Through the review of some current research on relevant theories and methods at home and abroad,to build a theoretical model.(2)Thematic group discussion method.Discussing the content and presentation of the questionnaire, the setting of research frameworks and assumptions, and the method of data analysis used to find the relevant factors that influence the user's willingness to use the mobile phone for self-service hospitalization.(3)Questionnaire survey method.According to the opinions of the expert groups discussion and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT)model to design a questionnaire.(4)Mathematical statistics.Using IBM SPSS 21.0 for some basic statistics analysis. Then using AMOS 21.0 software to build the structural equation model to test the research hypothesis of this paper.[Results](1)One-way analysis of variance showed that: As the patient's intention to use increases, the Perception Risk factor dimension score is decreasing, while other factors dimension score is rising. The difference between the groups was statistically significant(P < 0.001).(2)Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the user's age(?=-0.384)significantly negatively affected the Use Intention, and the degree of education(?=0.173)significantly positively affected the Use Intention.Performance Expectancy(?=0.211),Effort Expectancy(?=0.127),Social Influence(?=0.128),Individual Innovation(?=0.197),Attitude toward Using(?= 0.304)had a significant positive effect on the Use Intention, and the Perceived Risk(?=-0.131)had a significant negative impact on the Use Intention, both of them were statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The Structural Equation Model results show that: CMIN/DF value is 1.932,GFI value is 0.911,AGFI value is 0.882,RMSEA value is 0.054.So,the Structural Equation Model fits well.In the model, the total effect values of the Attitude toward Using,Individual Innovation,Effort Expectancy,Performance Expectancy,Perceived Risk,Social Influence on the Use Intention were 0.743,0.719,0.565,0.300,-0.149,0.294,respectively.The Facilitating Conditions have no significant influence on the Use Intention in the model.[Conclusions](1)Performance Expectancy,Effort Expectancy,Individual Innovation, the Attitude toward Using and Social Influence have a positive effect on the patient's willingness to use.(2)Perceived Risk has a negative impact on the patient's willingness to use.(3)The Facilitating Conditions has no impact on the patient's intention to use in this study.
