Objective:To investigate the effect and mechanism of Baduanjin exercise intervention on climacteric syndrome such as hot flash, fatigue and arthralgia in breast cancer patients treated with aromatase inhibitors. The purpose of this study was to find more treatments for side effects caused by aromatase inhibitor treatment and to improve the quality of life and treatment compliance of breast cancer patients.Methods:Thirty-nine breast cancer patients treated with aromatase inhibitors were enrolled in the Baduanjin exercise intervention study.Patients were divided into intervention group and control group according to whether they participated in training. The intervention group: Participated in the 12-week Baduanjin exercise(n=25).The control group: did not participate in the Baduanjin exercise(n=14).The specific intervention exercise prescription was to practice together three times a week,90 min/ time, for a total of 3 months. Before and after the Baduanjin intervention, the Kupperman Index,Piper Fatigue Scale and other questionnaires were used to test the symptoms of menopause such as fatigue, hot flashes and arthralgia in breast cancer patients treated with aromatase inhibitors. The fasting blood samples of patients were taken before and after the experiment to test the levels of inflammatory factors such as IL-6,IL-1? and TNF-?.Results:1.After 12 weeks of Baduanjin intervention, the effective rate of climacteric syndrome relief in the Baduanjin intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).2.After 12 weeks of Baduanjin intervention,The arthralgia and the fatigue total scores of the Baduanjin intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P <0.05),and the hot flash of the control group was higher than that of the experimental group(P<0.05).3.After 12 weeks of Baduanjin intervention,The IL-6 levels of the Baduanjin intervention group and the control group were significantly increased.Comparing the difference of the IL-6 levels between the two groups,it was found that the IL-6 levels of the Baduanjin intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group;the TNF-? levels of the control group was significantly increased after the test(P<0.05),the IL-1? levels showed an increasing trend(P>0.05).Conclusion1.Baduanjin exercise can improve the climacteric syndrome of breast cancer patients treated with aromatase inhibitors, especially the symptoms of arthralgia, hot flashes and fatigue.2.The improvement effect of Baduanjin exercise on the treatment of climacteric syndrome in breast cancer patients with aromatase inhibitor may be related to the level of inflammatory factors in patients.
