Accordingto the situation of drug used, all the patients were divided into the tamoxifen group and thearomatase inhibitor group. Tamoxifen group were treated with tamoxifen a pill daily;Aromatase inhibitor patients were treated with aromatase inhibitor a pill daily. Were detecttheir blood lipid one month before the medication, take medicine after3,6,9, and12months, Including total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein(HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL). Then review the blood lipid regularly until themedication end or the end of follow-up.Results: After taking tamoxifen12months, patient’s TC decreased by6.7%and HDLincreased by8.5%. and triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein yet no significantdifference. In Aromatase inhibitor patients,TG decreased by14%and LDL increased by8.5%after9months.Conclusion: Tamoxifen reduces TC and increased HDL, which may reduce the riskof cardiovascular disease. Aromatase inhibitors elevated LDL, for breast cancer patients, itgreaterly increased cardiovascular disease risk factor.
